The size of this thing is quite impressive.. It’s a little wider than most and it does hold two sticks. It’s extremely sturdy. I like that it’s wider because it really catches all of the ash from the incense. This was a nice surprise and I am thoroughly happy with this purchase.

This is a fantastic handmade wooden incense burner which is thick and durable. I bought two of these and so there are two styles but both styles are fantastic (one is deeper and about 3cm less in width but this one was wider and shallower but also lighter in color - not as bold); although, each style is great and the flaws show that these are in fact true handmade works - Made in India. The incense holes are pitched high but to get around that, simply bend the stick and the position will be okay or you could reposition the holes with a Dremel tool but as is was no deal breaker for me so no point lost because I do like the "standing tall" option and the bowl catches all ash even when pitched at that angle. Wonderful price and quality new or used (I bought both and was taken back by this sellers vision of "acceptable" because to me the used product was more in-line for "Like New" without any flaws or faults compared to the new version although with cosmetic differences but that made it better and not streamlined which these are not). I ordered the “plain brown” incense holder. I wanted something simple and sophisticated and also something without any potentially religiously significant markings on it. This product definitely delivered. The wood grain is beautiful and the whole thing seems to be hand carved and finished. It also came packaged well in a cute little striped box (which I forgot to save for photos, but it was adorable and most importantly kept the holder in good condition until it arrived). FIT: It holds sticks snuggly enough for stability yet loosely enough for easy placement and removal. STABILITY: The incense sticks do not wobble and the holder itself is very stable and does not wobble either. COLOR: It has beautiful color, texture, and wood grain—it matches the quality of the online listing. The color on mine might be slightly less of a caramel brown than the one on the listing, but I like the dustier walnut look. The variation is probably due to the fact that it is pretty obviously handmade from real wood—which would mean each piece is partially unique. ASH RETENTION: It catches and holds ashes well. The surface is finished enough that the ashes don’t stain or affect the color, and they dust off almost entirely without help from a wet cloth or wipe.

I WOULD have given 5 stars because the actual inscent holder is BEAUTIFUL. However.... this is a gift to my mom for her birthday and when I arrived, the box was DEMOLISHED along with the provided incense inside of it. I also ordered a Large box of Nag chumpa incense, which I purchased 2 weeks ago for myself and they came in perfect condition and are wonderful! However... that box was COMPLETELY DEMOLISHED as well along with 90% of the 250 incense sticks inside of it. The seller needs to do BETTER with packaging. Put these holders in something that can Withhold the wrath of Amazon shipping because holy crap man..... I'm actually really heartbroken over this. But I don't have time to get another one sent. So.... that's why I'm giving it 4 stars. Don't be cheap with packaging. IT MATTERS. Presentation is EVERYTHING. That all being said.. This is a BEAUTIFUL holder. The pictures posted do it ZERO justice! (My picture and Video dont either... its just hard to capture the real life view 😍) I knew there was a 98% chance I'd love it... but I didnt expect to love it a million percent more than I did when I found it and ordered it!!! I love the authenticity , the imperfections of the wood and the natural beauty that it holds!!! Omgoshhhh and the smell of the holder from the incense that were sent inside the box with it, chefs kiss 🤌 The engravings are SPOT ON and the detail is INCREDIBLE. It's extremely sturdy! Catches ALL the Ashes! ( How would I know?? You may be asking lol since I bought this one as a gift and haven't used it.... wellll it's because I bought the solid dark wood one (no engravings) 2 weeks ago for myself and I'm IN LOVE WITH THAT ONE AS WELL!!! Hence why I got this one, for my momma who's a Reiki Master, Yoga Therapist, Shamanic Healer... and so much more! So, she is going to ABSOLUTELY LOOOVVVVVEEEE IT. I'm sooooo excited to give it to her! If only.... I could give it to her in the box and with the provided incense sticks that smelled absolutely incredible! 😭 Butttt as far as the holder itself goes, 10 outta 10 recommend!!!!!! Glad I got it before they sold out completely, such a great purchase for my mum!

Worth it! Item was in perfect condition and is the ideal size. Definitely glad I got a bigger one, plus it looks modern and minimal. Holes can easily be made bigger with a tiny screw driver. Recommend!
