Gibbon Slacklines Power Ratchet (25mm/1" & 50 mm/2"), ratchet for that extra power

This ratchet seems pretty durable and is able to take a lot of tension. The only issue I had was that it's not able to make a 1 inch line very tight without first adding a primitive tensioning system on the opposite end up of the line, tightening that end down as much as possible, and then using the ratchet to get it extra tight. If you try only using the ratchet alone, the line winds up too much inside the ratchet and eventually passes the spacers, putting pressure onto the spacers, which are only held together by screws, so I don't recommend that. Keep in mind the line I was setting up was roughly 40 feet long, and I weigh 250. Other than that, it does it's job, and I would recommend it to someone who tends to slack alone or maybe with 1 or 2 other friends. Before I bought this, I would usually have to ask a friendly stranger to help pull out more tension. It's definitely worth the price.

In comparison to the Eno slackwire stock ratchet, it is much stronger. The strap that is attached is maybe a foot or 2 long so there is no way to attach it to a tree without the trick tension anchor. So either get the kit, or don't get the stand alone without a longer replacement strap.

Too short, bought the incorrect item despite manufacturer saying this is the one I need.

Awesome and Versatile, works as a trickline ratchet (no girth-hitching) and long line ratchet too! I does require a Shackle however, sold seperately though

This thing will take some tension!!!!! I’ve had this for ages now. Been holding off writing a review cus ratchets start failing after a few months of intensive use if they are not great but this hasn’t even slipped! Good quality and safe to use. It’s pricy for a ratchet but if you get anything cheaper, you’ve only got yourself to blame if it bursts open! This thing is made of tougher stuff!

E' un cricchetto XL.Se avete un cricchetto S (quello solitamente fornito nel set base slackline), noterete MOLTA differenza.Considerate che, per non acquistare più volte prodotti simili (e quindi risparmiare):►TRICK LINE: per tensionarla bene si ha bisogno di molta forza. A questo scopo sono necessari almeno (come minimo) 2 cricchetti XL. Ancora meglio 1 XL + 1 XXL (che ha una leva ancora maggiore). Alcuni (addirittura) preferiscono molta tensione con 2 XXL. Inoltre calcolate di avere (compreso con il cricchetto o extra) un sistema di de-tensionamento = “soft release”.► Un BUON COMPROMESSO può essere questo cricchetto + 1 XXL con soft release (assolutamente necessario viste le tensioni in gioco, per de-tensionare la linea in SICUREZZA e per PRESERVARE la slack). Con questo set up riesco a tendere alla perfezione una TRICK line da 25 mt senza eccessivi sforzi, e senza portarmi dietro due cricchi XXL che pesano moltissimo►Inoltre il vantaggio di questo prodotto sta nell'avere COMPRESO nel prezzo i due SPAZIATORI per linee da 2,5 cm (1") (non compreso in altre marche) ●FOTOATTENZIONE: il cricchetto ha una fettuccia corta. Per essere utilizzato necessita di roundsling e grillo a lira.

Hatten davor eine "Billigratsche" im Einsatz, die wir erstens oft fast nicht mehr lösen konnten, weil sie so schwergängig war und zweitens hat man sich dabei fast die Finger gebrochen.Diese hier ist seeeeeehr angenehm im Handling, lässt sich lösen ohne Gefahr für Finger und Nerven und ist überhaupt ein richtig tolles Gerät. Hier lohnt es sich wirklich, ein Markenprodukt zu wählen. Würde diese Ratsche jederzeit wieder kaufen.
