No PFAS, great size!
This rice cooker is exactly what I hoped it would be. There are no bells or whistles, no overly complicated (and hard to clean) design elements. It is simply a stainless pot, press-marked with water level recommendations on one side, and a glass lid, both of which are dishwasher safe. The whole thing goes from the electric heating part to a cooling rack, and from there into the refrigerator, and eventually into the dishwasher. Two key reasons for using stainless: 1) No PFAS or other forever chemicals, which come with most of the "nonstick" coated rice cookers out there. No plastic touching the food as it heats up, to leech anything into your meal. The metal will last far longer than a coating, too, so this cooker ought to have a much longer 'lifespan' than the 'nonstick' types out there. My previous rice cooker, an expensive Tiger brand nonstick version, started showing wear and scratches on the lining after just 2 years of use--and that was in spite of hand-washing and carefully using only the plastic rice paddle provided with the cooker. Once the nonstick coating begins to scratch, you know that you're ingesting PFAS. This stainless rice cooker will never have that problem. 2) So much more durable. You can use other implements than the plastic paddle, it can go in the dishwasher, you can really scrub the pot if you've cooked something other than rice (like oat porridge) and it stuck on... I can't stress enough how much I like that the pot and lid both lift out of the electric element, and are fully washable. I loathe, absolutely despise, the type of rice cooker that has a hinged lid incorporated into the heating part of the frame, which cannot be easily removed and cleaned. Those lids become disgusting after a few years, even if you're careful to wipe them and leave them open to dry. Also, the pots in those versions do not come with their own lids, for moving them into the fridge for leftovers; what a poor design! I'm never buying a hinged rice cooker again. This stainless rice cooker comes with a lid that is both easy to clean, and moves with it into the fridge. Simpler, cleaner, and just better. There's only one thing I don't necessarily love about this rice cooker: the amount of rice measured in the provided cup (a standard "rice measuring cup" is about 3/4 cup in regular measurements) doesn't fully correspond to the water lines provided in the pot. This may have to do with the types of rice I prefer: basmati, jasmine, and regular 'long grain' white rice. They all seem to need a bit more water than the indicated line for the number of cups. If I add water up to the next line (ex: water line 8 for 7 rice measuring cups of rice), it cooks up nicely; neither too hard nor too squishy, no excess water. However, if I do this with 10 measuring cups, the rice inflates right out of the pot and lifts the lid way off the rim! In reality, this pot can only fit 8 rice measuring cups of a long grain white rice. That's still a lot of rice, completely filling the pot up to the lid. Maybe with a less fluffy type of rice, their measurements would be accurate. Still my favorite rice cooker (out of many cookers, over the years), after two months of constant use. Highly recommend.

Highly recommended for daily use.
Very good quality rice cooker. The stainless steel inner-pot is durable and easy to clean. Cooks rice evenly and the keep warm function works perfectly. I bought it from amazon. So far very satisfied.

Good cooker, but it slides
Works great. Peace of mind with a steel pot, but lack of rubber on feet makes it dangerously easy to slide on a bare counter.

Maybe they should sell spatulas and not rice cookers.
I’ll start from the very beginning. 1. After washing the unit and attempting to make two batches of rice, there is still a very strong plastic burning odor when operating. 2. DOES NOT COOK RICE! I bought a rice cooker so that I could cook rice. Following the instructions to make rice (ie. leaving it on warm for 10-15 minutes after the cook cycle has ended), it will burn the rice at the bottom of the pot, not get the water hot enough to absorb into the majority of the rice, and actually leave standing water in about half of the cooking pot. 3. I attempted to make a second batch of rice thinking, “ok, maybe it was some type of fluke, or the lid wasn’t properly seated.” Wrong. This second batch is even worse. There is maybe a single cup worth of salvageable rice from a 10 cup batch. 4. I do have one nice thing to say about it though. The spatula that comes with the cooker is BAR NONE, the best spatula I have EVER used to transfer 40 partially cooked cups of rice from a rice cooker to a garbage can. Because of how undercooked the rice was, I barely even had to scrape the sides. It did nothing for the bottom of the pot though. That is still soaking in my sink as I chip at the rock hard burnt on rice from the second batch.

Perfect rice every time
This is 20 cup rice cooker is replacing a 14 cup rice cooker from another brand. They look identical. The weight of the internal pot feels the same. This model is larger and a better value price wise. I retuned the 14 cup Aroma because with only 3 cups of rice it ALWAYS spewed water from the vent all over the floor and counter. The rice cooked well but much stuck to the bottom even when I removed the liner from the cooker immediately. This Elite rice cooker does not have that problem. Not only does water not spew from the vent, rice does not stick to the bottom of the stainless insert. I am very pleased with this unit. also great for cooking a larger quantity of oats.

Received this item today. Decided to use it and there was burning smell within the first few minutes of turning on. Turned it off to inspect and as you can see from the photo paint has burned (exactly the same as the others who have brought this item recently so there is obviously a fault with the item). Dont buy this item it is a very dangerous and could have caused a fire.

Good small rice cooker, depending on what kind of rice you use, you may have to adjust water amounts. I find that it bubbles n spits out of the lid hole. Easy enough to just use a paper towel and form a wall to catch the moisture, dont cover the hole with paper towel or your rice may be soggy. Overall a good price for product. Would buy again
