Great value!
Great value. We enjoy doing the indoor and outdoor scavenger hunt the most. Adds to the fun when it’s an actual card that you can pull out versus a scavenger sheet. Age range: 3yo. Would buy again.

One Game Looks Like Fun!
I am disappointed in the LotFancy Card Games for Family Game Night, 4 in 1 Pack, Scavenger Hunt Games for Kids, Indoor Outdoor Activities, Family Trivia, Educational Game, Jumbo Size, Gifts for Ages 2-6. I was looking for something fun I can do with my seven grandchildren. I had thought this package with four different card games might be just the thing! There are four decks of cards. A mnemonic alphabet card deck, Family Trivia, Indoor Scavenger Hunt, and Outdoor Scavenger Hunt. The cards are bigger than normal playing cards, a bit thicker and sturdier, with rounded corners so they are safer for young children. The problem is that not a single deck came with DIRECTIONS! The Indoor scavenger hunt rules card says this: "In this indoor scavenger hunt, there is no winner. it's a game for fun! Create your own rules and method of play." Well, if I have to make up my own rules, then what do I need to buy a deck of cards for? The outdoor scavenger hunt says basically the same thing. The Mnemonic Alphabet deck isn't a game at all, just 26 cards featuring each letter of the alphabet, with an object that starts with that sound. So there is American Alligator, Buzzing Bee, and Colorful Cat. Since all of my grandchildren already know their alphabet, and six of them are reading, this deck is useless. The one deck that might make this collection worth it is the Family Trivia deck. This could be fun and enlightening. Everyone sits around the table. One person is chosen to be "it" first. They draw the top card of a shuffled deck and read it aloud. I just drew the question, "What is my favorite form of exercise?" No one is allowed to say anything, but make sure everyone has a slip of paper and a pen, or better yet, a small dry-erase board and marker. Then we all write down our answers, including "it." I might write down "watching tv" if I was in a mood. I don't really like to exercise! Or I might write down "swimming," because I really do like to swim. The point isn't to try to fool people, but to share something about me that I want them to know. Everyone else writes down what they think the answer is. Then after a few moments, everyone puts their markers down, and we take turns sharing our responses. "It" goes last, reading the correct answer after all the guesses. Anyone who had guessed correctly gets a point. Keep track of the points until someone has seven points. Then either start over, or switch to a new game. Twelve dollars isn't bad for a game, so if that is the only game we enjoy out of this collection, then I guess it's still worth it. I can see myself playing this with my grandchildren, and wonder if it could help them to get to know one another better. I happen to have a lot of small dry-erase boards and they all love to write on them. So... I was going to give this card collection only three stars, but I've changed my mind. I'll give it five. As for the other three decks of cards - I'll update this review if I figure out how we can play with them. Otherwise, I'm only happy about the one game, Family Trivia.

Great For Many Situations
This 4-pack of cards, consists of Indoor Scavenger Hunt, Outdoor Scavenger Hunt, Family Trivia, and Mnemonic Alphabet Cards. It’s been raining today and the kids were going crazy, so I broke out the Indoor Scavenger Hunt cards and the boys had a blast! The cards in each pack are large and made of good cardstock; they are sturdy but can still be bent/folded (like what my grandsons both like to do). The prompts in each set are well thought out; I do have to read the card to my grandsons and do some explaining in some cases (like what is the difference between an oval and a circle). Here are some highlights of each set: Indoor Scavenger Hunt/Outdoor Scavenger Hunt: Just what they sound like. While most of the indoor cues are pretty straight forward, others will need to be explained to young children, although they have a picture on them that they can default to if they want. The outdoor cues are also straight forward and actually lend themselves to teaching moments. Mnemonic Alphabet Cards: With my oldest grandson just learning to read, I really like this set. They each have a letter of the alphabet on it and some alliteration using that letter, like ‘Buzzing Bee’. This is good for helping to teach sounding out words and recognition of the words themselves. Family Trivia: This is really best for older children and adults, and ideal for family game night. This would be a blast at a family holiday party for example. Looking through the cards I had to stop and think how I would answer it, never mind how my wife or daughter might. Overall, this is a fun set to have.

A thoughtful variety of cards
I was very pleased to see such a great array of cards in these four different decks. I could see this pack of cards being liked by a majority of kids 3 and up. I think kids 2 and over could get use out of them, but it would be far more of a learning activity, then a play/fun activity. The family trivia game is something fun for the whole family and older kids too, and I'm excited to break it out for my son to play over the holidays with extended family. The trivia game has slightly more thought provoking cards however, so I think it's probably best for kids 4 and up (through early teens). Most of the cards require some type of introspection, creativity, and inventiveness and requires more methodical play as described in the instructions. The indoor and outdoor scavenger hunts seem perfect for kids 3-5 and could even be good for older kids if you added a timer and some scoring. As the instructions card say, "It's a game of FUN, create your own rules and method of play!" The mnemonic cards have some really interesting combinations to help remember the letters and sounds. I like all the artwork and colors. The cards feel quality, they don't feel flimsy or super thin. I really like this set and can recommend them to anyone with a kid 2-5, especially those with a younger sibling who may be able to help out the younger kid and teach through fun and games.

Hours of fun
These cards are a lot of fun. We used them on a trip, and they kept everyone busy for hours. I love the variety, and how bright and colorful the are. They are also quite sturdy, and I think they will last a while. We haven't used the scavenger hunt cards yet, but I'm looking forward to trying them out. I'm very happy with these!
