So many sets to choose from and reviews are frustrating. but I finally decided on this set and glad I did. Opened it right away to check out all the pieces to make sure they were all there and same size. Perfect! Love the metal trains. I am going to order a different starter piece. Although this one works, I'd like a plastic piece rather than wood. But 5 stars for set and fast delivery.

The rules on this are a bit complicated. It took about 15 minutes of watching videos up front, then doing a round ourselves to figure out any problems. So the startup was disappointing as video tutorials I found weren't great until I found one that was easy to follow. As for the actual game, it was fun for the 3 of us. It reminded me a bit like Cribbage, where the first round sucked to learn, but once you got it, it was a great time. The actual quality of the contents were good for the price.

The directions are very hard to read because they are so small.My tin came with a dent in it. I tried to push out the dent but I can still see the dent. Need to be packaged better.

Got this after playing Mexican Train at a friends house. Had such a good time I decided to get a set and get the family involved.Was shipped quickly, came on time, well boxed/packed and in good order. Tin came in perfect condition, no dents dings or scratches. All tiles were accounted for. The metal trains are a nice touch as opposed to the plastic versions and I like the wood "station" is better than the thin flimsy black plastic one that my friends set has. Tile size is same as the other sets I've seen and the pips are well marked (no faded/missing paint. As far a the color of the pips, we've had no problems differentiating between colors. Brighter colors WOULD be a nice touch though... maybe some fluorescent colors. All in all a pretty nice set that I wouldn't mind buying again or giving as a gift. If I HAD to think of a con it would only be that it doesn't come with scorepads... not really a con though as most of us have access to a pen & paper but it would have been nice to include. Recommended

My daughter and her husband have a different brand of double fifteen dominos. We had a lot of fun playing it and I decided I would like to buy one too. There were a few things about their set I didn't like so I decided to read some reviews and find the game in a different brand in hopes that I would like it better. This set is awesome! Now my daughter is wishing she had bought the same one instead of the cheaper one. The tiles on this game are thicker and the colors are easier to distinguish. I also like the wooden hub and metal trains much better than the cheap plastic ones in the other set. This one was more expensive, but worth it to get a better quality game.
