WELL worth the extra money!!
I studied exercise trampolines for weeks before I chose this one. I wanted to get my senior mom a trampoline to help with lymphatic circulation and easier exercise. The options on just Amazon alone are staggering, and the prices ranged from $40-$299 for what essentially appeared to be the same thing. I watched youtube videos to study how people bounced when they jumped on different trampolines and read every article I could find about different types, brands, models. After all that, I came up with a list of my 'must haves' to narrow down the field.Required Criteria:1. must have a handle, in case of sudden dizzyness. Padded so if you fall into it you don't get as injured.2. must have bungees and not steel springs. Landing on a steel spring can hurt your foot, and bungees give more lift on the upward momentum.3. must be shipped by Amazon for easier returns and faster arrival (Prime)4. must have sturdier sewing at the seams where fabric connects. I rejected all trampoline ads that did not include photos of the sewing in the first set of photos.5. no protruding legs to trip on or kick when walking past.6. must have a complete cover over the bungees so a foot can't accidentally fall through between the bungees.7. must have closeup photos of connections and parts to get an idea of construction quality, thickness and materials.Preferred Criteria:1. minimal assembly - preferred not having to install the bungees myself at least.2. folding, or minimal disassembly for easier storage if no longer needed, or if guests were coming over.3. photo of the trampoline in use, to give an idea of scale to different sized people. This trampoline was the only one on Amazon that hit all my Required and Preferred Criteria, so despite the $179 price tag, when there were trampolines as cheap as $40 that hit many but not all criteria, I paid the full $179 for this one. After happily bouncing for a week, it's well worth the money.Assembly:The trampoline came folded in quarters, with all bungees already installed as expected. To assemble, you first had to unfold the 1/4 into 1/2, then PRY the 1/2s apart, like a bear trap. A 3.3 foot wide bear trap. It is possible for 1 person to do this, my husband did it, but he's abnormally strong with an over 6' arm span (over 6' tall), and he almost fell over. It is impossible for the average person to open this alone, you will need help unless you are extremely strong AND tall. As I said, it is like a bear trap, and trying to do it yourself can lead to serious injury. I'm a strong woman and I couldn't do it myself. 2 people could easily open it per directions.Once open, the install is straightforward per the included directions, with the exceptions below.Screw in legs - One of the legs appeared to be unstable. That turned out to be because I was trying to screw it in, and some threads are very very tight (this is good from a secure standpoint, horrible from an install standpoint). It required my husband to screw it in tightly. Once he TIGHTENED them all down, all legs were perfectly level. This requires a lot of strength too, as I said, one of the legs did not want to screw all the way in at first, and the threading inside that leg may have had some burrs.Attach handle - easy assembly, but I want to note that the support handle attaches to one specific leg area that has a notched protrusion that nestles the handle. If you mount it on a different leg, the handle will wobble and not be as secure. I put it on the wrong leg at first, and the handle wobbled til I checked all the other legs and found the one with a notch for it (NOT in the directions and NOT immediately obvious).Put the cover on - the cover has a notched area that ties to the handle area. There are also elastic ties every foot under the cover. I tied each tie to a set of bungee straps, and they untied themselves quickly. I retied to only one bungee strap of the pair underneath, it's holding better, but still come loose after you jump a lot, but the pad is secure once attached. That's all the installing necessary. Unfold it, screw in legs, screw in handles, tie down the cover, bounce! If you have someone strong helping you, the assembly takes less than 10 minutes. Assembled, this is a well-made strong quality piece of equipment.Safety- I tried to tip it over by 'falling' on the handle. I could raise it a bit (like popping a wheelie) in both directions, but I could not make it flip over while trying to. It may be possible if you jump really high and came down with both legs on the handlebars... but that wouldn't be an accidental fall from dizziness. It's pretty solidly on the ground. The Bounce... OMG!! THIS is AMAZING. I love it so much! My mom decided that she would prefer to jump rope, so told me to keep it or I'd have bought another one. I put it in the game room that I have to walk past to get to my office. I bounce on it every time I leave the office and return. In less than a week, my balance has adjusted completely (first time on it, I almost fell over from dizziness), I'm growing new muscles, and feel healthier... that's in just a few days. When I was a kid, I could jump and bounce all day long. If you haven't bounced in a long time, you don't appreciate how out of shape you are... When I bought this, I thought it would be easier than say jumping jacks or running, after all, you are being PUSHED up from underneath by the springs right? Wrong. This is a MUCH greater workout, because you fight gravity when pushing back up. I've been running in place on it (knees high), and in much less time I get more workout than jogging, without the joint stress. It's remarkable, and I LOVE it! I hope I can use this thing for the rest of my life.Even my dog likes it! (well, ok, he doesn't really, but he likes to watch me bounce on it... probably chuckling inside... silly mommy...). Hope this helps!

Junk Do Not Buy anything from this seller EVER
Product breaks down and the seller will not send replacement parts and they won’t tell you where to get replacement parts. This seller is selling JUNK. Do not buy this item. I purchased this item not even a year ago and my innocent child really likes this junk. Had I known it was going to break down or had I known the seller was selling JUNK I would not have purchased from this non responsive seller.

Good at first but does not hold up
This was simple enough to put together, just need some strength to pull frame open. I returned a different trampoline to get this one. This has the perfect amount of bounce not to soft and not to hard . This would only matter if you're using it to work out if it's just for the kids then know they won't be bouncing to the ceiling. Only bad thing is I can't get the handle to stay steady it keeps coming loose.Update the handle wont stay put at all and the trampoline is falling apart, the bands keep breaking and I cant find where to get replacements. My children use it often one is 62lbs the other 30 lbs so way below the recommended weight limit. I don't think this would hold up to an adult using it on a daily basis.

Broken Bungees
Revised Review:I really love using this mini trampoline. I've been using it every night for an hour or so while watching TV, and I have lost 10 lbs in about 6 weeks. I am now at my goal weight of 114 and I attribute it to using this re-bounder. Also, after contacting the seller about purchasing additional bungee cords, the seller promptly sent two additional replacement cords.Previous Review:I've only had the trampoline about 1 1/2 months, and two of the bungees have busted. The trampoline came with two extra bungees but now I better order more.

Garbage, we have had it 6 weeks and 7 bungees have already snapped. We cannot find any replacement parts. Do not buy this trampoline.
