This is a larger Barbie doll, it is heavier than usual and would withstand lots of play. I think it is excellent quality and has attractive well made clothes and shoes. I am very happy with this doll and would recommend it for younger children.

I got this for my daughter she is 5 she has had plenty of barbies before but I got this one. This is an ideal barbie for little ones. At the time of purchase this was £26.99 which I think is a great price for what you get. Everything is of good quality. As I say the barbie is like a solid rubber so no worries about choking hazards. It is quite heavy as well it is really a good little toy. This is ideal for little ones who are just starting to like barbies, it is easy cleanable if needs be and a good size so it won't get lost. I didn't know barbie done " first barbies" but I think it is a great idea for a good price.

This Barbie doll is larger than the standard sized Barbie doll so it’s perfect for little ones. The accessories are larger as well meaning so small parts.The arms and legs are nice and mobile so you can have Barbie sitting down and move her arms about. She has lovely hair and a brush as an accessory.She has a friendly face and cute outfit, as this Barbie is larger than the standard sized Barbie you won’t be able to mix the clothes around.It would make a lovely gift for any toddler or young child.

The media could not be loaded. Ok, let's not get over-excited. These dolls have soft limbs - which means there are phthalates (or plastisizers) in the 'rubbery' legs and arms. Meaning more danger to health that with the horrid playline Barbies the older children are getting.But oh my what a feel to these dolls! The faces are beautiful. They are heavy. They are so like real people, my child who refuses to play with dolls more often than once a fortnight has been noticed handling these for a whole week since they arrived. Mainly brushing their hair. But still!And the hair... Please sort that hair out. The hair is awful. At least on this doll. Give us strong, beautiful straight hair, we will curl it up ourselves without burning it and submerging in more chemicals.And you know, we don't really have to bend the dolls knees and elbows (although I have to say these ones look so realistic you have to pinch yourself and will kick the Sister's sweet little ball joints any minute - that's for adult collectors who, I'm sure, will soon turn their attention to these ladies) but give children the PetitCollin or Zwergnase healthier plastic.These dolls are a way but make them healthier.
