I bought this for my friend's son, he was 16 months old at the time. He loved it straightaway, the snail's eyes were very interesting to him - they can be turned around in every direction. The paint is good quality and the snail can be easily drawn on the floor without any issues. I bought it for him because he's a very active little boy and he really enjoyed playing with it, drawing it up and down the house. He's a bit too young for the colour-coded part but I'm sure he'll like it later on. He smashed the snail to the ground a few times and still, no breaks and the paint wasn't chipping off. Overall very good quality and versatile toy, especially for toddlers who are physically more active!

How nice to buy something that does not need batteries! Well made colourful toy that should last generations and that will inspire the imagination of little children. Expensive for what it is, but cheap enough to give as little gift

This is the second crocodile I've bought for family . Its great how it moves when pulled along kids are fascinated. Sturdy and lasts the test of time and a lot of rough handling

I like the fact its well made and the different pieces that pull apart make it a fun toy; but rather disappointed that there are only 3 shapes for sorting which I had not realised prior to buying the toy. My grandson loves it but it is far too easy for him

Bought for a 1st birthday present and the little girl loves it. Only downside was the box was a little damaged but that could have happened in transit and did not effect the product.

Bought for my 1yr old son and he loves it so much - especially cute as he's pulling croccy along and he's wagging his tail! Makes my lil one giggle. A great little toy. Highly recommend.

beautifully made, pull along with a bar you can balance little things on. can also balance the snails "shell" which turns as the snail trundles along. fabulous googly eyes ( unfortunately dog has chewed one) shell is a sorting drum with shapes and colours.

Well made, with no sharp edges. Toy makes a delightful noise when being pulled along. Loads of fun and learning to be had.

Beautiful toy, the water wheel is removable and I'd say heavy for little hands but my son is mesmerized by it.

Our latest Hape purchase is this crocodile pull toy. I really enjoy watching our 13 month old son pull it around and he gets such a kick out of the noise the tail makes when swaying side to side. Our son has been walking since 11 months so is now a comfortable walker, and when playing with this toy, he runs and laughs. I must say that I love the quality of Hape toys and am glad I discovered this brand for our son. Their wooden toys are made to last and aesthetically pleasing. Their toys are all painted with non toxic, child safe paint vs. some other brands that just print designs on papers and glue them on toys meaning my son eats the paper off. Also, the wheels on this croc are fantastic. Our home is mostly hardwood, with a rug in the living room. I'm often concerned about toy wheels scratching our floors, but this croc has rubber coated wheels that do no dammage. It rolls well on both hardwood and our rugs.

Bought this for my nephew for Christmas last year. He absolutely adores it and plays with it all the time. When he was younger, he enjoyed pushing the snail around and making the tail wag, and rolling the shell on the floor (with the blocks inside, it makes a very loud, satisfying 'clack-clack-clack' as it rolls). Now he is fully engaged in the matching game aspect. I suspect the next stage is using it as a pull toy on his toddler adventures around the house. I was also very impressed with the build quality of this toy. The fit and finish are excellent and the wood is high-quality with no rough edges. The colors are bright and attractive.
