Seriously, this lip stain has saved me so much money, time, and effort. I used to wear lip liner every day because I felt like my lips were on the thinner side (especially when chapped), but I always hated how intense and overly precise lip liners looked. It felt like there was never a true in-between shade. It was always either brown or red.I eventually gave up on lip liner because touching it up constantly was annoying, and I was always losing my lip products. Then my mom showed me this lip stain, and I’ve never looked back.At first, I was like “eh, whatever” because there are so many gimmicky, all-the-same lip stains out right now. But she wanted me to try it since she has darker lips and was curious how it would show up on mine. So I tried it. AND SOMETIMES (perhaps more than sometimes) moms really know what they’re talking about. I have NEVER EVER gone back.I usually hate lip stains. They’re always some red, or berry TINT and I just wanted something natural with a hint of flush. Plus, most stains wear off in like an hour. But this one? I’ve repurchased it over and over again.For context, I love going out clubbing. I can apply this around 10 PM before heading out, and when I get home, it’s still on my lips.I usually leave it on my full lips for a minute, then “line” my lips with it like a lip liner for about five minutes. Sometimes I repeat that for more coverage. My go-to is the shade XOXO, but I’ve also tried Beautiful, Adore and Neon Rose. Those were super pigmented. XOXO is my favorite since it feels like my natural lip shade with a half a shade darker and more neutral in a sense to where it works like a contour. I feel like the shade “beautiful” was almost like XOXO but with a bit more “flushness” to it! A natural tone for sure but MORE coverage. Adore was similar in the way of a natural tone but a pink more on the pinkish side! && Neon Rose was a NEON pink and lasted so long I literally woke up the next morning and it was still there. I remember the first time I applied “Neon Rose” and I did it same way I did with XOXO, and the color lasted from the moment I finished my makeup (around 4am) to the moment before I went to bed to do my nighttime routine (6pm.) since then I know now if I want to use neon rose it needs to be like 5 seconds applied seriously.This product lets me go out without carrying a full makeup bag. No touch-ups, no worries about losing lip products at the club. Just throw it on before I leave, throw one lipgloss in my tiny purse and go.I took forever to write this review because every time I use it, I get so excited watching the magic happen that I forget to take a picture.Also, people complain about the peeling part, but who cares? I always just wipe it off. It’s not a big deal when the results are this good.You get so much bang for your buck, especially with bold shades. Yes, it can feel a little dry eventually, but even then it stays opaque and visible. And coming from someone who hates spending more than $5 on makeup or skincare, this is one of the very few exceptions I’ll make. I absolutely LOVE this lip stain! It's so quick and easy and lasts ALL day.Whimsical is a beautiful "healthy pink" for my skin tone when I allow it to sit for about 15- 20 seconds. No one even realizes I'm wearing anything because it looks so natural! (Except naturally my lips are so pale people will ask if I'm feeling OK. ) If I leave it for 30-60 seconds, it looks like I've got either a lipstick or tinted lip gloss on. It goes on smoothly and easily with NO burning and doesn't make my lips feel dried out. The "purple" part wipes of quickly and easily with a wet cotton round. I can use any lip gloss or chapstick or even lipstick over it without fear of it rubbing off or breaking down the color. There's no weird smell or taste. It is so light you can't even feel it's there. And because it lasts all day, it's perfect for lazy makeup girlies like me that don't wear a lot of makeup but still want to look put together, but are also definitely NOT going to reapply during the day!

It stayed on a while for me, all day. I used the spray with it. Once it’s set and you’ve taken off the blue layer, it’s on there for a while and is not easy to take off—I would say smudgeproof is accurate. You def need to apply a lip balm or gloss over it to keep it from drying your lips out. But then it’s fine, no issues for me. The only thing I don’t love is I always seem to have to wipe off the top layer of blue and it comes off in pieces and it’s a little messy. And there’s sometimes blue pieces stuck on my lips. It hasn’t been a true peel off lip stain for me. But the color does stay on well, so it works. This is the shade “Romance” and it’s a little too bright and reddish for me. It was pretty, just not my color. Going to try another shade next. Wish there were more pics in reviews with the color label next to it!

I wanted to try lip staining because I have a hard time keeping lipstick on, if I wear it at all. I seem to lick my lips or something and before I realize it’s gone. It’s such a short time that I don’t reapply! I’d have to do it several times an hour!So I have been paying attention to Wonderskin ads that popup between my Mahjong games and so I ordered it. My color choice wasn’t available (Orange Crush) so I went with a pink color. I have what I call “English lips”, narrow. The first time I tried to apply it I made a mess of my mouth and quickly removed it. On the second true I was much more careful and I was satisfied with the amount I deposited on my lips. I left the masque on while I did the dishes and then began wiping it off. The color deposited was indeed Watermelon pink. Now the real test, how long would it last? So I set a timer at one hour intervals and I checked it. After one hour it was still on,, however, by hour three it was gone. I didn’t reapply. So for me it lasted longer than normal lipstick but far from the 8-10 hours advertised. This is my experience and if you don’t have any issues with lipstick this will probably work for you. Statistically you could say that Wonderskin stayed on twice as long as regular lipstick on me. It wasn’t drying as some long wear lipstick tends to be and if you want a glossy look they do have a gloss stick on their website. In regards to ease of application I had trouble putting it on. I attributed it to my narrow lips. In ads girls with normal lips had no trouble applying it. I was disappointed with the product but I will try it again and again. As long as the tube lasts! Maybe I’ll get the hang of it and try applying chapstick over the color to test if that makes any difference in length of wear. I still want to try Orange Crush. It’s not orange orange rather a subtle sherbet orange. That’s my color.
