Advent Calendar "Little Town"

I bought this for a friend who remembers German advent calendars from his youth and he absolutely loved it. The pictures behind the windows are relevant and charming, and since the calendar is tri-fold and so can be stood up on its own, if you place it in front of a lamp or light source the open windows appear to glow. The names of the shops and buildings are all in German, so could be a mini educational tool too.

This is gorgeous and I will certainly be buying one like this again! Two windows opened on one day to a violinist on one side and a choir singing on the other. This is a proper advent calendar!

Love the fact that some of the dates have more than one window to open.Love the traditional design..... It’s only September but I do get over excited about Christmas decorations!!!

For not a lot more than a normal advent calendar you get a very traditional advent calendar instead. I really liked that on some days there was more than one window for each day and the transparency of the pictures which meant a light source would make the pictures glow.

Very nice traditional advent calendar. Pretty scene and none of those awful cheap chocolates.

This looked beautiful until I went to use it todayNumbers missing from doors and windows make it mostly unusable

The way the windows open to show colour and light is very traditional and lovely - especially coming so close after the war.

This is a really gorgeous advent calendar - lovely quality and really sweet, pictures. Both myself and my children love it.
