We bought these to replace glasses we had purchased via mail order which had unstable bases, and were concerned we'd made the same mistake twice. These are sturdy glasses with a very flat and stable base (no accidents!). They're a nice design, not fussy, and not too plain. The stem is not too long and a good width, making it easy to put in the dishwasher or to wash up by hand. They were described as dishwasher safe, and after multiple washes we can say there are no marks or staining. The glasses are 200ml, so smaller than the largest glass of wine (250ml) available in pubs and restaurants. If you want large glasses for glugging, avoid. But if you want something small, practical and sturdy these are great - perfect for everyday. If you want something like restaurant style glasses with thin glass, these are not for you.

I've been the proud owner of an identical set of these exquisite glasses for a few years now, and despite my husband's clumsiness, he's only managed to break one. Initially, I acquired them for a charity shop, and to my amazement, I discovered that they were of exceptional quality. Based on their elegance and sturdiness, I assumed they were significantly more costly than their actual price point. I never thought I'd find such a gem on Amazon at such a reasonable cost. While one reviewer labeled them as "meh," I strongly disagree. These glasses are the epitome of grace, strength, and perfection in size. Additionally, they are definitely bigger than sherry glasses, but their versatility is truly the beauty of them. I've enjoyed a wide array of drinks from them, including beer, cider, champagne, and wine, and each sip was enhanced by their delicate nature. These glasses are truly a marvel.

I find these glasses a nice size for my wine. Definitely drink less using these glasses instead of my old very large red wine glasses. They are also well made with a nice strong feel. Would also work well for many other beverages such as port, sherry, limoncello etc.
