It works great. It was quite easy to setup on an older, generic single seat go-kart I worked on for my kid. Everything went into place well and it was definitely an upgrade to the simple steering that was OEM on this kart.

Converting the Children's Go-Cart to Rack and Pinion Steering was extremely easy using the PRO-BAT Steering Set. The original steering was the Old Steel Rod type of steering, updating the Steering System made more sense than replacing the Go-Cart. Like most Automotive Parts, the kit arrived without instructions. All of the New Parts are easy to "mock up" and test. Once I had the correct mounting points I welded my mounts in place, and bolted the Rack and Steering Gear in place. PRO-BAT has done a wonderful job by selecting all of the correct parts in the Set including the Steering Wheel and Both Tie-Rods. Now the Go-Cart handles like a dream and looks good too! I took my time and really enjoyed putting the Rack & Pinion Steering System in the Go-Cart. Watching the Grandchildren Play with it is Priceless.
