This is a black colored floss refill. You get what appears to be a decent amount of floss for $6. I did not have the original so I just used the floss out of the box and cut it with scissors. It was easy to do.The floss itself feels pretty thick. I like unwaxed floss because I feel like it does a better job getting out the crumbs between my teeth. This one, despite saying there's wax, has a nice rough texture that allowed it to really attract plaque as I flossed. The floss generally didn't fray too badly but every time I hit this one tooth it ripped. This doesn't happen with my glide floss.Overall though I am pleased with these floss refills. They do a good job getting rid of plaque with the rough texture and generally were durable.

I like this floss. Works pretty well. It doesn’t glide as smoothly as other flosses but gets the job done. Smells minty and works as intended. Overall a good product.

Having black floss is a little strange at first but since it is super minty i had no problem with it. I would like it if it came in one of those usual floss containers but I understand that the lack of plastic and metal is the entire point of the eco floss. Honesty, i can see the plaque removal so much better with this floss so i can really tell the benefits of flossing.

I received this just in time as I was running out of a similar floss I have been using. This product works great and I like that it has a subtle mint flavor, it keeps your mouth feeling fresh for a while after flossing. Give it a try. I switched to “old style “ floss from the typical brands you find at the pharmacy. I like it better, it’s more user friendly

This dental floss is superior to any of that stuff you find in the drugstore. It is thick and waxed so it really picks up residue and bacteria between your teeth. These are only the refills so you either need a dispenser like the one I have pictured, or you can cut it with scissors. This floss would also make a very good substitute for heavy duty thread to attach buttons on a coat.

I love this floss. My teeth tend to cause the store bought to shred - this stays solid.It has a mild taste and comes in a super tiny box - be sure to look carefully if it is packed with other items.It is sealed in plastic in the box and has no dispenser - so I am cutting it with scissors and it works out fine.I will be switching to this permanently.

This is a true eco solution to eliminating the plastic dispenser for floss. The spools came wrapped in paper and packaged in a small paper box. I have a glass dispenser of a different brand, and they fit perfectly.The bamboo floss is strong. It works even better than silk. It does a good job cleaning and moves easily between my teeth, even in the tight areas. I have not experienced any significant amount of fraying. Just one spot that gives every type of floss trouble except Glide, but that's plastic! I'm not sure if the charcoal is making any difference, but it doesn't hurt either.

I have a spot of bad dental work that is very difficult to floss. A lot of floss either breaks or frays while I try to work it in between my teeth. This floss will occasionally break, but more often than not, it does not break which is excellent.These (there are 2 refills) fit fine in my little Zero Waste cylindrical clear glass floss holder/dispenser.Zero Waste product.Made in China.

I like this dental floss. It's safe and effective floss, strong and great quality, in light peppermint flavour.2 pack of flosses came wrapped in paper bag, in small box. This is a refill for dental floss in jar. If we already have the "starter pack" we can easily buy refills which turns out cheaper than buying again new starter.The floss comes out very curly but when pulled by both hands to use between the teeth, it does good job. I already have special jar dispenser for it so I can just put it in and use when needed.The floss is not very flat and thin like some other available in market, its kind of round in shape and quickly, with success it removes pieces of food from gaps between teeth.The gentle minty flavour doesnt last in mouth for long after flossing but it always reminds of minty toothpaste flavour and at the same time we feel like our teeth are much cleaner even if we didnt actually brush it.This product is valued £6.99 for the pair of flosses inserts.Buying inserts, we pay £3.50 per each, similar value than branded tooth floss in plastic packaging, non biodegradable.I like this product and I think it's worth 5 stars.

I do like this floss as it is very eco, which is always a positive. This comes as a 'refill' pack which means it does not come with a dispenser. I, unfortunately, didn't have an empty dispenser at hand so have just been snipping it off with scissors as I use it. The floss isn't waxed so can feel a little different to the supermarket-bought ones that are flatter and slide between your teeth a little easier, but then the whole point about this floss is it is natural.There are two sets of floss in the box and each look like little black bobbins of cotton until you smell them and get the nice minty smell.It is fairly easy to use although I would say it isn't quite as thin and easy to use as other flosses. I do like that you can actually see what is on it (as gross as that sounds) lol.Although some people may recoil at paying nearly 7 quid for dental floss, not only you are getting a good amount here that is going to last you a good while, but it is fully eco-friendly and that is admirable and something we should all be taking far more seriously than we do. 4/5 from me.

So this floss refill comes in a tiny cardboard box, that does have a tendency to flatten at the slightest inconvenience - but that doesn’t affect the flosses use.But don’t have the dispenser, so am using the floss out of the refill box, which works fineX my favourite thing about it is the strong minty menthol smell you get as soon as you pick up the pack. The floss itself doesn’t need to be cut, as it snaps fairly easily by hand when pulled, which makes it great for travel.I found the floss itself to be a bit wider than other floss I’ve used, but it is still thin enough to get between teeth, and picks up more material from between your teeth. Because it’s black in colour you can see EVERYTHING it removes from your teeth, which is a little gross but also weirdly satisfying. Definitely a replacement from the plastic store bought stuff I usually use. Recommend.

This is my first time, using bamboo charcoal dental floss. I usually use waxed dental floss so I was curious to see how this one compares.This bamboo charcoal dental floss feels more like cotton thread. It smells minty and fresh. When I flossed my teeth, this floss didn’t glide as well as the waxed kind and it did get slightly stuck in between my teeth on several occasions. I have to admit, I panicked every time it got stuck, but I did manage to slowly pull it out. This floss left a bitter aftertaste in my mouth though. The mint was refreshing but the bitter taste was off putting.This floss didn’t split when it got stuck between my teeth which was good.This floss is definitely a more eco friendly option but it kept getting stuck between my teeth and the aftertaste wasn’t very nice.

These rolls of dental floss are priced similarly to name brand higher end products, and these don't come with a dispenser, meaning you need to use an old floss holder, or adapt the little cardboard box the floss arrives in. Luckily, it works quite well, suited to those who use floss, rather than dental tape. It's obviously thicker than tape, and slightly uneven in thickness. Together with the colour of the floss, it's actually quite good at removing plaque as you can see it on the black floss. It also has a slight minty aftertaste.This is a good floss for those concerned about the environment, and actually works well, even though it's a little higher priced than the regular brands.
