Perfect poached eggs (to our taste) after 5 minutes
Prompt delivery and as described. Do not see why others have had a problem with this lifter, unless they are trying to lift very small poachods. Mind works perfectly, enabling me to lift the poachpods into and out of the boiling water, lid on the saucepan and away we go. Perfect poached eggs (to our taste) after 5 minutes. Highly recommended.

OK!!!!
Quite a nice piece of kit, does the job but the quality isn’t brilliant quite sharp around the edges. I had to file it before I could use it.Could be a lot cheaper!

Egg poacher pod lifter
Although the lifter helps remove the poachers safely, you need a very wide pot to manage to get it in between the pods without tipping them over if you have 4 in the same pot. it is also impossible to get the lifter underneath the pod with the raw egg in it to place in the pot without lifting the pod off the counter, making it possible to tip over and loose the egg. Could have used a wider opening at the front to get under them easier. But even with the bad points it is worth the risk reduction of scalding when removing from the pot.

Poach Pods Best Mate
I loved the poach pods up they were a faff to remove from the pan, let's be honest who wants to stick their hands that close to a pan of boiling water? The poach pod lifter is the genius addition to the poach pods, if you are of a somewhat clumsy sort or don't like the idea of dropping your uncooked eggs in their poach pod's into the water you can use the lifter to slide them in the pan as well. (I've fouund if you want to put the uncooked egg filled poach pod INTO the water then make sure you have enough water in the pan or it gets very fiddly. The poach pods are in and of themselves a stunningly brilliant invention combined with the lifter they have a good chance of becoming one of my favourite kitchen gadgets... No I'm off to have some gloriously poached eggs, couple of slices of bacon on toast as a late supper...

Pathetic
I read some of the reviews before buying thinking it cant be that bad can it ? Answer no it isn't its worse much worseWords that come to mind are crap, pathetic, rubbish, junk, totally unfit for purpose and above all DANGEROUSHaving lifted one pod out of the pot I thought to myself that the reviews were wrong as it worked fine, went for second egg and got it part way out before the egg dropped from about 6 inches above the boiling water luckily avoiding scalding me. The plastic used distorts and softens in the hot water causing the gap to expand and drop the pod.A slotted spoon does the same job a lot easier and safer imoIf you have some spare cash to throw away may I suggest a suitable charity as by doing so you will avoid scalding yourself and avoid this manufacturer from getting any more money.

Surprisingly useful
I wasn't sure whether or not to buy this product when I ordered my poach pods but decided to take the plunge. I am glad I did since the lifter makes PLACING and REMOVING the pods into and out of the pan so much easier and safer. I would recommend this product to anybody purchasing poach pods.

Not the best of products
Not the best of products, OK the quality of the product is good but it really doesn't produce very good evenly cooked poached eggs despite following the instructions to the letter. I really ca't recommend it.

do you really need it
So I bought this because I bought the pods as well, on the theory that It would save the scuddy white egg mess that you get in the pan from poached eggs. However I think they are the biggest waste of time imaginable, I used them once and never again. It just isn't right, and poached eggs are so easy anyway its just making more to clean up. I cannot however fault the design, they do work there just pointless In my opinion! I will stick to my slightly foamy egg water I think :-)

If you have poach pods, you need this lifter!
I really resisted buying the lifter but after a few close calls with steam burns and tipping the pods into the poaching water by accident, I finally decided to get the lifter. Works very well — and is worth it. BTW the poach pods are amazing too — clean up well and produce great poached eggs.

It Works - Excellent product
I bought this in conjunction with a set of silicone poachers. It makes handling the poacher cups a lot easier, especially when the time comes to remove them from boiling water. This gadget keeps your fingers well away from the hot water. I tend not to have the cups float freely as they may topple over if the boiling water bubbles too much. I found my own technique to fill my pan up to a certain level which keeps the cups just about touching the surface of the pan. This makes it a little hard to slide the fork of the lifter under the cup. I cut almost an inch of the fork ends. This makes this task a finger snap. Well, that's me. It works for me. I am certain that will develop your own personal method to deal with these issues. Some patience and practice will make you a master. The product is well made and does the job. It is a must have if you use silicone poaching cups.

complemento indispensabile
Strumento indispensabile per le coppette in silicone cuoci uova, funziona benissimo e permette un utilizzo ottimale. E' fatto di plastica molto leggera... speriamo duri e che sia resistente.

Simply does not work
Maybe i`m doing something wrong but these simply do not work. It takes too long to cook the eggs and more often than not they become submerged as the water bubbles over and into the holder. Somewhat defeats the whole purpose of buying them.
