Excellent value, strong, two handed, easy to fit.

Brilliant door handles. Used for my front door. Looks fab.

The handle is offset, so the screwdriver gets access to fit them very easily. At each end there are two holes pre-drilled, in diagonally opposite corners of the square fixing lug. Pause to imagine this. If you want adequately strong fixing of the handles on both sides of the door AND want the handles at exactly the same height on the two sides of the door AND don't want the screws that fix one handle to meet and clash with the screws holding the other handle, ie screws meeting (clashing) from the opposite sides of the door, you will have to drill two holes in each end of one of the handles on the OTHER diagonal of the square fixing area so that the opposing screws do not meet. Read this again if necessary and think it out slowly. You will then have a very strong fixing, and will find that these VERY reasonably priced handles of more than adequate finish straight out of the packing are very pleasing and serviceable. I definitely recommend them, but the manufacturers could consider drilling them suitably at ONE end, so that the screw holes as the handles are supplied can be aligned so that the screws do not crash because the holes in the one are 90 degrees from the holes in the opposite one. As I say, think this out and decide slowly how to fit them. And you can easily polish them to a finer finish if you want to.Eric Franklin

Excellent quality product. Got this to replace an external handle. The offset means that if the positioning of the handle has to be tight to the closure point, it does not catch and knuckles are not caught in the doorway. The handle is very strong, no signs of weather damage, robust and feels like it will last forever.If you live in Sheffield these handles are used on the external cycle sheds at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.

Good, strong, comfortable handle. the hand grip being off-set from the fixing holes in the base plates allowed a secure fix to the narrow frame of a lightweight internal flush door, very handy.

Nice item. Corners are a bit sharp but nothing a light sand couldnt sort out.

Very happy with this handle. It's sturdy and has a nice, cool brushed steel feel in the hand. I didn't it on myself, got the decorator to do it. I was so happy with the purchase that I bought another one a few days later. The decorator wasn't around when the second one came and I found it fiddly to put on.
