works great to support the baby if used with arm floaties too
We had previously bought a larger size for our 2 year old great grandbaby and she LOVES being able to bounce/float around the pool freely. We never leave her unattended but she at least has freedom of movement and has a great time. This one was bought for an 8 month old and mostly for our own piece of mind that she at least won't sink if she slips out of our arms due to sunscreen and a wiggling baby. She also has on arm floaties and usually we sit her in another baby float we have too. With very young babies it's difficult to figure the placement of the float pieces to know how to keep her upright but not on her face. I still am very happy I bought this suit for piece of mind but never, ever leave a baby alone for a second.

Size runs small
The sizing was on the smaller end the 4-6 barely fit my small 4 year old. After 2 uses there was a small hole below the zipper.

This suit fits perfectly for my 3year old. It’s been great to be able to take the blocks out as she gets stronger. We are almost out of blocks. It’s been great to adjust the blocks at her pace so she eventually can swim with out it.

Worst zippers and fabric
These are poorly made and have to be replaced after a few months. The zipper always breaks and the fabric stretches out and thins to something closely resembling tissue. Looking for a better product but haven’t had any luck. So far they are all terrible.

Brilliant. My daughter barely used her arms with arm bands. With this suit it has really boosted her confidence and ability to move in the water.
