How do you use roller skates

Bought the roller skates for my granddaughter and she loves them. She uses them at a local roller skating rink that is near our home.

I measured my daughter as a 8.5" foot. So, should I do medium or size up one to a large so that she has room to grow? How adjustable are these??

They are great! I got these for my daughter and they adjust to I'd say three sizes up so you can go wrong with a medium or a large

3y-6y fits fit size 4 to 6 I would say. saying size 3-6 here doesn't mean it's suitable for little kids 3-6 years old, it's more suitable for youth,and it has push buttons to extend sizes.

My 3.5 year old wears 8.5. What size should I choose?
