Q: The Grout Pen I received has a dry white tip, is it broken or did I receive the wrong colour?

Tips need to be primed before use, all brand-new Grout Pens have a dry white tip until they are activated.

Q: The tip of my Grout Pen fell out or is worn down, is my pen broken?

Tips are designed to be removable so when a tip becomes worn or damaged it can be taken out and flipped over. If the tip falls out do not worry, simply put it back in and keep working.

Q: Do I need to press down hard while moving the pen along the grout lines?

Pressing hard will damage the tip. It's better to prime the pen by pressing up and down until the ink flows to the tip. Once the tip is fully saturated, lightly move the pen across the grout line.

Q: The colour of the pen cap is not exactly the colour I want

The Grout Pen colour chart is a good representation, please keep in mind that computer screens can display slightly different colour spectrums, it is recommended to do a small test area first if you are not sure about the colour.

Always read the small print

I bought these to aide me with my grout pen bathroom revamp as the reviews of the pens all suggested that the nibs wore away. In the end I only needed one of them and it did what it was supposed to do without issue.My only slight niggling issue with this product is in the image itself. Basing my purchase on the image I was expecting the whole upper part of the pen replacement. So when an envelope arrived with my invoice inside with what looked like a rolled up peice of sellotape attached to it, I was a little confused as to where my replacement nibs were. They were in fact in the "rolled up sellotape" which turned out to be a small plastic bag with five replacemt nibs in - just the actual nib...I would purchase them again, the price was reasonable and the delivery was the next working day despite Amazon saying that it would take up to 4 days or so, but it would be nice to have a bit more clarity around what is you're expecting to receive.

Essential to get through most out of grout pens

The nibs supplied with the grout pens distintegrate pretty quickly on any rough surface,these should be supplied with the grout pens really.
