Installation was surprisingly easy. Don’t let all the wires discourage you as long you follow the step by step video on their YouTube you’ll be fine. They also give you the tools to do it so don’t worry about tools unless you’re upgrading the back up camera.there are some cons :- cannot change the color of the car model displayed- back up camera provided is zoomed in so tends to seem like you’re close to other things/vehicles when you’re not.- ac tends to sometimes turn on by itself when you turn on the vehicle ( just turn it off )- ac tends to sometimes not fully turn off despite it saying off ( not really noticeable unless you put your hand up to your vents )- CarPlay connects through a third party application called TLinks that’s already installed on the console.- If you’re on the phone heading towards your car , it will still connect through Bluetooth automatically but will not connect to TLINK ( car play ) automatically like any other time. Will just run the normal screen of your vehicle along side google maps .- hotspot and Bluetooth will not work simultaneously. After watching YouTube , Netflix , or any stream show. You will have to disconnect the hotspot and then reconnect back to Bluetooth to access CarPlay again.Overall despite these cons.The console WORKS great and looks amazing.

So heres my short term review on this...pretty damn good. What makes it good? First off, its one of the only ones to retain the factory Sirius/XM. It also retains most of the stock equipment, BT mic, USB's, stuff like this. Install is overall pretty straight forward, you will most likely need some help from tech support though. I consider myself pretty savvy with this stuff and Ive done many audio installs and I needed some assistance too. It has some really nice features, the audio is really good, nice DSP. It made my stock speakers sound better for sure. One thing about these Tesla screens has always been tech support. This one is different . Tech support has been outstanding. Yes, it takes a little while for them to get back to you because Im guessing they are in a different country. I use FB Messenger, if I send a message in the am, I usually hear back by the evening or the next morning the latest. They have helped me with everything I have asked. Tech support gets a 10/10 for sure. Id say of you're looking for a Tesla type screen this is a good one. Long term? I cant say. As of now, Im happy with this.
