Quality Construction and Good Value
Well built in a metal chassis with a built in power supply instead of a wall wart. Been using since received and it performs as advertised. I like the features including POE and an inverted port. Great value and quality.

Reidubo 8 Port Gigabit PoE Switch Is @napmom1 approved.
This scores well on what is most important and that’s it works well. Literally plugged everything in. We only needed 4 ports but bought the extras so we can add more hard wired connections if needed. We have this centrally located network box with fiber so we just needed to connect to our ISP’s Eero router. The reason I rated it only 4 out of 5 was because it did not easily fit next to the router. I had to adjust the items in the box and put it at an angle because of the power cord keeping it from fitting at 90 degrees. New home trends will be to these types of boxes and everything needs to fit easily.

Purchased for surveillance camera power/configs
This item came fast and was professionally packaged. I used it to configure some surveillance cameras before I hooked them into my POE NVR. It immediately powered them and they were able to be accessed from my PC. I like that the unit is fanless and make no noise. The switch is solidly built with a built in power supply. I did attach it to a voltage usage display and the unit with nothing attached uses 3w just plugged in. I assume that is normal for this type of device but wish it was lower when doing nothing. Overall I really like it and think its good for the money. Time will tell how long it lasts but I will be sure to update this review if it doesn't.

This switch is good, but the Amazon sub ratings don't make sense.
Amazon asked you to rate on Wi-Fi signal, tech support, and interface. None of these applied. This is not a Wi-Fi switch, just an Ethernet switch. No tech support should ever be needed. There's no interface, just plug it into your router or another switch, and plug more ethernet cables in for computers, printers, network attached storage devices, etc. The wisdom in having a device like this is to take advantage of internet connections in excess of 1 GB per second essentially allowing two or more devices to simultaneously stream at 1 GB per second. This can also be advantageous if you're using a file server or network attached storage device and multiple people are using it at the same time. I believe this is a consumer level device. Most consumers don't need this much speed, however, with fiber and super fast internet connections available, many people's in-home hardware constrains the speed.

2.5gb Uplink Is Pointless When The Other Ports Are Not
Absolutely does the same thing as a $10 one. Having a 2.5gb “uplink” is pointless as well because the rest of the ports are only 1gp ports. Marketing I guess, extremely deceptive.Network “optimization” is also bs. Its an unmanaged switch . So, try again.Avoid if you are looking to share your multi gig connection over ethernet, dont buy this one, because it doesn't work.

Solid low cost POE switch
Are use the switch in a busy office. It handles both POE phones and cameras. It runs a little warm when you have all the ports plugged in. This switch also features VLAN, but do not turn it on unless you want to cut off all cross traffic. In most cases, he will leave the VLAN off. The only time I use it is with the smaller switches, where I want to keep all the traffic from Cameras going in one direction, and no way to camera traffic can interfere with each other and that creates a higher speed traffic flow

Equality
This switch is easy to set up but very susceptible to lightning.
