The pump works great boosting my pressure from 20 psi so now my on demand hot water heater comes on right quick. The fittings were a challenge to get the leaks stopped. I put lots of pipe tape and added pipe dope too but still leaked. My final solution was use pipe tape and silicone. Once it’s tight let silicone set up a few hours before using. The pump comes on quickly and is not too loud like others have said. If I turn off the water to the pump it shuts down automatically which is a great feature. The only issue is getting the leaks stopped but I will still give 5 stars. It’s my obligation to get the,leaks fixed.

Im using it as a replacement from an older pump that had a 30 gallons pressure tankAnd now my small 3 head sprinklers system does not have enought pressure to work Property. The pump is a our basement Just 11 feet underground and at our guarden we are getting only 25psi. I guess."we will need a bigger boat"

The description is false. This is not a booster pump. It is a shallow well pump. This will not boost pressure in an existing line. The design pressure is 28 psi max. The threads are not standard pipe threads (npt). They are some one off thread pattern. The fittings WILL leak if npt fittings are used. This product is NOT for the American market.

The pump uses BSPP threads, not NPT like the description claims. With enough Teflon tape and pipe dope it might work but if not this is how to seal it.First for pump inlet: The fitting I used for inlet is a BSPP male to NPT female(pictured included) with an o-ring seat at the bottom of the male threads, these fittings are sold as hydralic hose adapters. It came with an o-ring and a metal ring outside of the o-ring to prevents the o-ring from popping out when tightened. For pump oulet: The union between pump outlet and controller inlet works fine as-is but the o-ring at the pump outlet pops out when tightened too far. Adding a metal ring outside of the o-ring would prevent it from popping out. For the controller outlet: it's a standard male BSPP, I got a BSPP female to NPT male adapter on Amazon, this adapter is more widely available so not much trouble here.I'm using this as a booster pump with inlet static pressure at 70 psi and outlet static pressure 120 psi. Running pressure is 55/80 @ 5GPM. With a flooded application drawing from say, a lake, the provided check valve at the inlet would probably seal with a low pressure, but either way it'll need adapter going to NPT and the seller should've stated that.
