These knives are razer sharp. I have bought many, even Benchmade knives that were not as sharp right out of the box that needed sharpening. Genuine Damascus steel, over 200-240 folds/layers. Best bang for the buck. The owner personally overseas the process of production. I called the company a few times and I have only great things to say about answering my question. If you would like to spend more money you can but in the end you may not get anything of a great deal better. Lots of options. You can also visit the web page so google that to see all they make. So try one and see for yourself. Just my honest opinion, I think they are a family-owned business and they stand behind their products.

I purchased a wooden handle version of this knife along with this bone handle knife. I gave the wooden handle knife a five star rating because it was well finished and so was the sheath. The bone handle knife has a defect near the tip of the blade. The sheath was much heavier leather and so is the stitching. The overall size of the sheath is larger and not finished as well.Overall I am very pleased with the knives considering the cost.

The knife is sharp, nicely polished and bone handle to boot. Thick leather sheath is spot on too. Beautiful quality for less than half what you pay for USA made. The Damascus steel is stunning too. I bought 3 and they’re each different and consistent quality. Will be using this one for a long time to come.

Knife came when it was expected, the product was just as described. The blade was nice and sharp as well. The leather pouch was made well and seems to be holding up.
