Stormguard 05SR034010MW 10m EPDM 'P' Profile Self-Adeshive Rubber Draught Excluder - White

I would recommend this product. I used it on my wooden back door which has always been really draughty. Years ago my late husband tacked a draught excluder strip round the outside of the door to cover the gap. It never did a satisfactory the job and the rubber part has started to perish. I wanted something that I could apply myself without needing tacks and tools etc. This product is perfect. It splits apart easily. The strip covering the adhesive peels off easily as you go along. It isn't so sticky that it sticks to itself and can be repositioned if necessary. For the first time ever I have no draughts coming in round the door and I've enough tape left to redo it when required. It's a great price for such a satisfactory product. I don't know how long it will last but I'll happily renew it every year if I need to.

This pack contains enough draught excluder to go round two doors. I put it round my front and back doors. It was very easy to instal and has proved to be very effective. I also put brush draught excluders along the bottom of the doors and between the two products, this has made a huge difference, really stopping draughts. The rooms where these have been installed feel much cosier. Altogther, this was an easy and inexpensive way to reduce draughts and hopefully reduce energy bills. One minor grumble is that the rubber draught excluder is not sticking very well to one corner of the door frame and is hanging down in this one corner. My husband is going to stick it back up with some glue. Perhaps, this part of the door frame was dirty or greasy and this is why the rubber did not adhere very well to this small section. This wasn't enough of a problem to put me off and I am thinking about buying another pack to put round another couple of doors.

I bought this for my flat door to keep out the cold air and cigarette smoke from the hallway. Works well. I noted that is needs to be stuck onto a very clean surface to stay fixed. However, on edges around the door lock the edges came free in a couple of months. But really I thought it sticks really very well otherwise. Also used it for sealing my skylights and it works well there. It really easy to peel and stick. Worth noting that it is made up of two or double lines, which can be separated or put up together side by side. In some areas I needed a single width. There is also a 'P' profile, but I found this a much better seal as it has four raised areas to catch the draught if both lines are used. Well recommended. My only issue is I want to find more places to put it :-)

The draft excluder was exactly what we needed but instead of two white, the seller sent one black and one white. As soon as I messaged, they sent out the missing white on next day delivery and credited me for the unwanted black. Their customer service was exceptional. Doors were all warm and cozy in time for Christmas.

Described as enough to apply to 2 doors, I ended up doubling it up on one door as the frame for this particular door is slightly warped, so needed to be be applied at the front and back to form a reasonable seal all around when closed. It states that uncompressed the profile is 5mm, and compressed 3mm, It can reasonably be compressed to around 2.5mm, but this obviously makes it harder to close the door. Where I made mistakes applying it to the door, it peels off easily without removing paintwork, and re-adheres nicely once you re-apply pressure. Overall, the seal is very effective, the draught is completely eliminated, as is the light that seeps through at night from the streetlight outside. If I had more draughty doors, I'd be buying this again immediately. Much prefer the seal from this P profile than the D profile I've used before.

Works well, only problems I found were that you need to make sure the surface is clear from any old glue and it works on 2 edges out of 3 as the door wouldn’t close once I applied it to the edge of the door frame where the handle is. But it still works well at keeping the draft out, especially on exterior doors.

Superb. We’ve had multiple gaps in windows and one door and were dreading that we’d have to replace them. The difference this has made is huge, so easy to apply, noise reduction is immediate, no more cold spots. They are now a snug fit and a lot cheaper than replacing. Thoroughly recommend.

Por la puerta entraba una corriente de aire en invierno que enfriaba toda la zona... Ha sido ponerle esto y todo sellado... Se pega muy bien a la primera... Por ahora no se ha "aplastado/deformado" nada, y aunque cuesta un poco mas cerrar la puerta el resultado es mejor que lo que esperaba....

Trennpapirt läßt sich nicht abnehnen und der Klebstoff haftet auf dem Profil und dem Trennpapier. Völlig unbrauchbar.

Würd ich nicht mehr kaufen lässt sich nicht / schwer entfernen

Haben damit bei uns im Haus die Holzfensterrahmen und Blendrahmen neu abgedichtet mit Erfolg. Der Klebestreifen ist sehr gut verzeiht auch mal 2-3 mal leicht abziehen. Haben die Fensterrahmen aber gründlich gereinigt bevor wir dabei gegangen sind. Man hört auch das es besser gedämmt ist weil man von draußen weniger mitbekommt. Zur Langzeitwirkung kann ich nichts sagen. Qualität ist sehr gut Würde ich aber auf jeden fall wieder kaufen.
