Lovely bear
The bear has lovely soft fur, joints move well and the growl is a suprise when it happens. My dogs are a bit too interested so he has to stay out of reach.

Bought as present, there was no Steiff box, but he comes in a sealed bag. Hopefully she will like him, but I was expecting a Steiff box. My new best friend and confidant
Very well-made bear that is full of character. He is a harder model so only huggable if you're an adult. The growler is a nice feature ... he actually growled when I unpacked him which was funny. His joints move well. He has a little hump on the top of his back near the neck. His fur is quite short. I like his face which has a muzzle, hazel eyes and beautiful hand-stitched nose and mouth.

A stiff, unappealing bear
We wanted this bear for our grandson, as a toy he would hopefully treasure. It was so stiff & not the least bit cuddly or appealing looking, so returned it. Really disappointed with the product.

Box and Certificate
This is the third Steiff Teddy Bear I have purchased for Grandchildren and the first one that has no box or certificate of authenticity.Disappointing.

Love!
This was my first Steiff bear purchase and it inspired me to collect more. But he's still my favorite! I wish he was a little bigger but otherwise he's perfect. As other reviews said, it doesn't come in a box, but I'm ok with that. One less thing to store. Very nice weight and well made.
