I did not see any mention that this was not a new book. Although it was in good condition, the library info was blacked out and “discarded” was stamped in the book. I wiyld have returned it if it was a gift

My youngest (6yrs) and I have read all the books in this series. They are light hearted and playful with lessons for young readers throughout. We checked this one out from the library so much that we decided we needed a copy for ourselves. These books are great to read to as well as to read WITH young readers. Highly recommended.

My seven year old son loves this story. Great length as well, it is not a short book, and is a bit lengthy which makes it great before bed. Nice story plot as well, and highly recommend to incoming second graders.

Cute, cute, cute!

We love the original Mouse and Mole ( Upstairs Mouse, Downstairs Mole paperback ) and were so excited to read the sequel that we pre-ordered it. It is horrible and we ended up not even letting our children have it. It is precisely the opposite of what we loved about the original. No kind, generous friends here, just the usual children's book clichés.

Nice beginning chapter books that my 3 year old enjoys.

You will too. A sweet story about how magic is all around us. Some magic takes a little time. Bravo!

I gave it 5 stars because I thought it was really magical. I hope lots of kids will really like it. Good for kids who like animals.

We got this as a gift and have since given it as a gift. It is a beautiful book with a heartfelt message. One of my absolute favourites. The drawings are also so sweet. Highly, highly recommend!!!
