Absorbtion Corp Carefresh Premium Soft Pet Bedding, 50-Liter, Blue

Changed the bedding as soon as this came in the mail. 3 days later it still stinks and I actually think the smell is stronger. its a very light blue color so it makes all potty accidents visible.

It came fairly quick for a large item, they updated their boxes, it shipped in a smaller one this time than last time. I will be buying it again when I'm out. My only concern was that the color was a litter lighter than the last bag and it felt moist, but I'm sure that will be fixed now that the bag is open and able to dry.

Maybe this stuff is made in China because of the 4 times I've ordered it, one of those times it arrived smelling like it had been saturated with urine and then dried. Nasty!

This will get everywhere if you aren't careful and can get itchy if it gets over your clothes. But it works pretty well. Just make sure it will be contained.

Great great great GREAT!We have been going to petco for the bedding and I have fallen in love with the colored bedding but damn it's so expensive and it doesn't come in the large pack like this one. The natural brown color for this size is about 5$ cheaper in petco so this is a great buy. The blue isn't quite as vibrant as the photo, it's more of a baby blue but that might just be my batch?What we have ended up doing to save some more money and still use the pretty colors is use a mix (half of each) of the brown and the blue and I think it looks great. It adds the color pop I love, it's not too overwhelming with the color (which truthfully I am kind of worried about if you use all blue), and it's just a little bit cheaper than constantly using just blue.I will definitely purchase again when we run out.

We normally use pine bedding for our guinea pig cage, but decided to give this a try. It did not absorb the smells as well as the pine bedding does. We will not buy this again.

My bunny loves this litter. Never has an accident as long as I use Carefresh litter. Oddly enough, he only likes the "colors" version, when I used the "Natural" version, he would sometimes leave pellets outside the box. Not with this stuff. The colors bring out his eyes. He also prefers the purple to the blue. I think the blue is less absorbent as well... maybe something to do with the dye or perhaps the mix is a little different. I think he just takes after me and thinks that purple is prettier than blue. In the blue bag I got a lot of cottony filler, like yellow cotton ball stuff, it would come out in clumps with the blue paper bedding. Regardless, it's the best stuff out there and happy bunny means happy bunny mommy.

I bought 6 packages of this 50-liter blue bedding as we had been very satisfied in the past. Unfortunately, all but one of them had a strong rancid odor, apparently like the pulp from which it is made, which remains in the air even when the room is ventilated. The purple doesn't seem to be available in this size anymore.
