Got the OAKSWARE 5.5-Inch Kitchen Utility Knife during the Black Friday sale and hoped it would suffice as a meat, poultry and deboning knife. WOW!!! This knife EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS! Well-balanced, Exquisitely Sharp and cuts through bone like it's butter! It's super Important that you wash this knife well AND DRY IT OFF after each use. This is what you do with Premium Steel and this knife is definitely Premium. I kept the box it came in as well as the tip cover to store after each use. Take care of this knife and it will last forever.

Was hesitant due to extremely low price compared to brands I know. So glad I bought this kitchen knife. Heavy, solid, well balanced, and takes an edge extremely well. Was able to get it extremely sharp with little effort.

Some of the best steel there is for a blade, 1.4116 same as in Puma's high end blades. Beautiful taper, the blade is semi flexible. Not a fillet blade yet flex's enough to remove the skin for store bought salmon on a cutting board. Was impressed to the point I ordered a bunch of these knives, now everyone in the family will get one for Christmas. The price is just silly good.....wow !!!
