Excellent.
It actually works, unlike you know who. Volumn, ringer speaker, etc. perfect. The handset locates in the basealso perfectly, doesn't fall out, the keys actually make a proper electical connection so you're not connectedto someone you never heard of. Not use to this.

Easy to use for elderly
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Bought for elderly mother. Definitely loud ring…which is what I wanted.

Great for Loved Ones
This was a purchase for my 100+ year old grandmother to have the ability to connect with us from afar while she was living in a nursing home. It allowed her to just press a button to get connected with us, without needing to pull out a list of numbers and input them all. It is a quality device and is also loud enough for her to hear us.

Good basic phone for seniors
This Vtech SN1127 model landline phone is easy to set up and program. The eight speed dial keys are very easy to set up---just make sure you have the phone numbers you want to enter in front of you. The amplified volume of speakerphone and the ring volume is more than sufficient--it's really loud at highest setting! However the call volume on the handset isn't sufficiently loud even when set on high. You have to touch the "booster" button if you want to make it reasonably loud. The call quality rating is probably 3/5 on the handset and 4/5 on speakerphone. All in all a decent phone, but not perfect.

I hear you loud & clear !
Definitely loud ringer and voice coming from answering system . Easy to set up with internal coaching. Nice big buttons . I’d say a good value for us seniors with vision or hearing issues !

Sent obviously used product with missing parts from the phone. Avoid this seller.
Upon receipt of phone I noticed that the user guide had a bunch of handwriting all over it on the cover and inside. If that was the only issue I would have ignored it and moved on. However, this phone has a plurality of speed dial buttons that allow you to print out and slide photos under the buttons to easily identify the person assigned to each speed dial button. Unfortunately, all of the top covers for the speed dial buttons that attach the photos to the actual buttons are missing, so you cannot attach photos to the buttons. Adding photos to the buttons was the primary reason I purchased this phone for my elderly parents, so there goes the reason for purchasing this phone. Based on the state of the phone I was sent, I would not consider purchasing from this seller.

Great for seniors that have issues with smartphones and need a landline phone
Great large button phone. The programable speed dial buttons are perfect for seniors or persons that have difficulties remembering numbers or how to use a phone (such as stroke victims). You can custom the auto-dial buttons with labels or pictures. (size your pictures to .76 inches high by .83 inches wide). The optional voicemail does not have to be used. If you do not use it, the phone simply hangs up if the call goes unanswered. The ringer has an adjustable volume button, as does the handset volume. We are currently using this in an assisted living environment, and it has made communication so easy for all involved. It was a great transition from a smartphone designed for seniors.

Pretty happy so far, seems well thought out
Bought this for my elderly mother who uses Ooma. Seems like a great phone for the elderly. It's missing caller ID but you can use another phone or device if you want that.I like the volume (loud ringer and handset volume), flashing red indicator light while ringing, one-button calling with the speed dial (don't even have to pick up the handset because it will use the speakerphone). It seems like it was well thought out.And yes, there is a ringer volume control but you only get high, low, and off. High is really loud.I will update this review if anything changes.
