10/10 would buy again
I’ve only had it about 2 weeks now and use it to take my stuff to work (drive commute, not like NYC walking to work). But it’s great so far. Paid around $115 USD for it.TL,DR; kickstand is good. Mesh back like a desk chair with gap to the solid back is good. Well made with thought to little things. Enough extra organization without getting in the way. Holds a ton but can be shrunk well with compression straps. The mesh back was the biggest reason I picked this model. I sweat, a lot. The mesh is even better than I expected. It’s tight like the mesh back of a desk chair, with maybe 2 inches of clearance to the solid back of the bag and a couple inches around the edge. Excited for my next trip to really carry it for a while.Kickstand is a game changer. Works great. There is a frame that goes from the front bottom, to the corners, to a hinge about 1/3rd of the way down from the top on the back. Also a frame around the outside edge on the back. The actual frame pipe is maybe 1/8th inch diameter.Minimal wasted space compared to my old Thule crossover. Organization is the right amount in my opinion. Not too much, but there’s enough to do what you need.Laptop compartment padding is present but isn’t overkill like others. The frame makes it so the bottom of the laptop won’t smash the ground if you drop it in too fast.Main compartment is pretty huge. Enough for a lunchbox, laptop chargers, my multiple small books and notebooks, 1 set of scrubs, and gym clothes. Good zippers, opens really wide. It’s the only pocket with double zipper pulls, while the others are single and all are closed on the same side. That makes it easy to find the pocket you want. Smart little move.Mini pocket is... mini pocket. Easy to find and open. Organizational pocket now only has 3 built in pouches. Enough for me. Very front pocket is a nice pocket-pouch hybrid with the vertical zipper and Velcro top. Good place to put a winter hat or something like that I guess.Compression straps make it easy to compress the bag for when you’re on the move, and it’s easy enough to release the compression when you need into it.Shoulder straps are nice. I’m not sure exactly what to do with the adjustments up top, but it’s nice to have that option I guess? If you’re interested in the features of the bag, I recommend it. Best backpack I’ve owned. Gonna be looking at osprey for any bags I need in the future.

First Time Purchasing an Osprey - Impressed so Far
I was tentative about spending this much on a back pack, but I’m glad I did. Currently I use it for school and business so file folders and my IPad come in and out of it constantly. This is my review after two weeks of daily use.The main specs:3 main pockets2 quick access pocket2 sets of external cinching strapsChest and waste strapAdjustable arm strapsWaterproofKickstand featureOrganization -There are three main compartments and two quick access pockets. The organization within the front pocket is appreciated - especially the security clip for your keys or wallet. The main middle compartment is pretty standard with a divider for a laptop, my MacBook Pro was a snug fit, but the last compartment had no issue fitting a computer that size. There is a stretchy easy access pocket on the front face and Velcros to the underside of the panel that can also store the upper cinching straps if you choose. The waist straps can be removed but if you don’t want to hassle it there are stitched slots that allow you to tie and stow them on the sides.Ruggedness -The backpack is waterproof and held up well in a light rain. The zippers seem rugged and are hard plastic and looped which is helpful.Handle on the top side is double stitched and feels to hold the weight of the backpack wellOther Features -The back compartment can be used for a hydration system and has another organization pocket that is quick to access. It has an access slot under the handle should you want a hydration system, headphones, charging cord etc. There is also a specific pocket for your sunglasses that sits right after the first pocket but before the second which I really love - it also works great as another quick access pocket. Some reviews mentioned the kick-stand feature now working. I have not had any issues so far but it seems to work better when the backpack is fuller. It also gives a rugged frame to the back which makes it feel sturdy and I feel makes it easier to get on and off.The mesh back is very comfortable and convenient if you’re on the move. The side pockets are big enough to fit my 32oz Hydroflask and are deep enough to keep it from going anywhere.Overall would recommend.

Great backpack for my fiancé
I got this as a Christmas present for my fiancé, and he's been using it for the last 7 months and loving it. He doesn't have a need to use it daily, but we frequently go visit family on weekends, and he can fit everything he needs for a weekend, including clothes, toiletries, etc., and his chunky 17" laptop and other smaller tech stuff. He says that it feels lighter on his back than it actually is, and I agree. Sometimes my smaller and lighter backpack feels heavier than his, just because of the superior way his supports the weight. He does have to squeeze to get his laptop in its compartment, but his laptop is bigger than most and if even it fits, I don't think anyone else should have trouble fitting a laptop in it.The kickstand works with even a relatively small amount of weight in the bag, and is a really nice, helpful feature. He's pretty rough on everything he wears, including bags, and it's held up with no signs of wear so far. He still comments sometimes on how much he loves this bag, and we're both very pleased with the purchase.

Great backpack!
This backpack is great! The main draw to this pack is the kickstand feature. Although it is more useful when you have the bag loaded with some items, it is a cool feature. The side pockets have ample space for a 40oz flask. Previous backpacks that I’ve had, the flask would fit but would eventually pop out. Needless to say, my 40oz flask has some character now.Storage is ample. I do agree with some YouTube videos, the organization pocket could use a bit more pockets. Then again, it has made me rethink what do I really need to carry on a everyday basis.

A Game-Changing Design & Ultra-Convenient Backpack For EDC
The Difference-Making DetailsThe "Airspeed" back panel is great for keeping the backpack off your back. That's great for people who sweat a lot. Sure, there will be a bit of sweating when carrying lighter loads, but the situation will be 100% bearable. If you are a sweater, you will know what I mean. The Kickstand. Even though it's not a feature you'll be using every single day, when you need it, you will know. Perfect for slipping groceries and EDC items in one-handed. Great addition. Plus, the whole kickstand-frame system makes carrying heavier loads easier. The Pros:Great quality. Every little details seems well-thought and the practicality is great.Front zippered pocket: ideal for keys, facemasks, etc.Lined pocket: perfect for smartphone, glasses, sunglasses, GoPro etc.Admin pocket: ideal for cables, powerbanks, headphones, cable pouches, etc.Main pocket: huuuge main pocket can easily hold shoes, clothes, documents, groceries, cameras, etc,Laptop pocket: ideal for a 15.6" laptop and a tablet, kindle. Super-padded and elevated.Bottle holders: huge and easy to adjust. Can easily hold a Chilly's 0.75litre bottle and a hydro flask coffee mug.The Cons:There's no hidden, easy-access pocket in the back or the sides. There should be a small hidden pocket for your cash or wallet. That would be great. There's an opening right above the laptop compartment for a water bladder, but that's the LAPTOP compartment. There should not be an opening above your laptop for the rain to come in. I had to get a waterproof sleeve for my laptop for extra protection.OVERALL:The bag is worth the money. The quality, attention to detail, and comfort is not matched by bags that cost 50-60E. It's a great EDC bag with a few minor design flaws, which will not drastically affect your experience.
