Very useful technical manual, helps identify all the various bits to be able to look them up on line for ordering parts. Using the well practised Haynes style of repair and maintenance instruction throughout the reference manual. A must have for the Freelander owner!

I've bought Haynes manuals since the seventies and I've a tremendous soft spot for the company who made DIY car maintenance possible. This manual looks dated now and has an "antique" feel to its many black and white photographs and pages. Still as informative as ever and if you can get over the rudimentary indexing and layout, you'll find much information. I'm a car nerd and happy to read this at bedtime (!) But to have all the necessary information to hand, will save you much heartache and many broken trim clips and stripped screw threads. For the money, it is very very useful and will enable you to do your own servicing, so think what that will save!

Good manual but the paper and print quality is very poor, had a few Haynes manuals before and the quality, pictures etc were so much better, online manuals are available but I’d rather have the paper version beside me if I’m doing anything, personally I find these much easier to look up, on the plus side it does have a lot of useful information so only gave 4 stars because of the quality

As other people have said, the photographs are in black and white and very grainy and not clear. but as there is nothing else out there it is a good reference book.
