Fair price for 50 candles.The ivory candles are tapered and look great. They burn well, not too much wax dripping.They don't give off too much smoke when being blown out, and some can be really bad for this, so that's good.I've bought these several times, as it's much cheaper to buy in bulk.

I bought 3 different colours: ivory, green and red all look superb. Great, bright and large flames that look great in the centre of a dinner table or on a side table or mantle shelf. If you blow them out they will smoke a bit as the wick is substantial - better to snuff themGreat buy

I sacrificed one of my emergency candles in the 50 pack so I could write a review. I was very happy with the candle I tried. I had 8 hours of burn time (which is great) with no smoke and no dribbles. Very happy indeed if the whole pack performs like that!! I would recommend. The thickness at the base fits traditional candlesticks and spirit bottles. Quality candles.

These candles seem pretty good value at about twenty seven pence each - and useful to have ready in some quantity. Although they are red on the outside the interior is white which to me indicates slightly less than top quality. However Price's candles are a well known make and the candles burn evenly down without excessive quantities of wax dripping.As they don't 'go off', a box like this can last for years. Slender but strong they stand tall and steady, useful in seasonal table centre pieces, standing in candle sticks, burning safely inside lanterns.There's something sweetly cheerful about a red candle, it draws the eye and creates a sense of occasion. Plus it could be jolly useful in a power cut to have a good supply to hand...Although I am not actually 'prepping' for the 21st December 2012, I do like to be prepared!

Really beautiful quality. Flame is clear and not at all Smokey. Burn for over 8 hours. Really happy with this purchase.

Terrible quality - I’ve been a repeat purchaser previously but the white colour candles I just purchased have completely disintegrated upon lighting - nothing near dripless. Frustratingly impossible to request a refund.

I'd looked in vain in local shops for red candles for our church Advent wreath, then found these on the internet. They arrived promptly, well packed with none of them broken, and with far more than we need for this year we have been able to help out another church too. Very good value for money and excellent quality as you would expect from Price's, so thank you from all of us.
