Great value & heats up h smald space fast

Excellent for directed heat and has variable dial control to use on lower settings is 250 watts I use regullarly. Only costs about 7p per hour.

THE GOOD: This heater is only 500W so can't be expected to heat a huge space, but works well for a small room or a camper. It's also absolutely tiny and lightweight so great for a desktop or vehicle. As a fan heater it is quite noisy when running. It's also got a tipover switch which automatically cuts off the heat if it falls over. The body is only plastic so won't be particularly durable, but I've had no issues and it contributes to the light weight too. THE BAD: The thermostat dial isn't very effective because it has a large 'deadzone' - in other words if it gets up to temperature and clicks the heat off, the room has to get quite a lot colder before it turns on again. Still, at only £15 it's great value. I would alternatively consider a small oil-filled radiator, which would be much quieter but a bit larger.

Bought this for my dad for his desk, ordered the item 3 times. First came wrong, second was damaged same as the 3rd. The second one was damaged and couldn't be used at all. The 3rd has been used previously but is OK to use atm.

I have had this little ceramic desk heater for around a week now and I have been pleasantly surprised at how effective it is for its size. I work from home quite a lot and it warms the immediate area around my desk very nicely without using a large amount of energy. It feels safe, it is compact and the thermostat adjusts well for quick comfort. My cat has now also discovered it, so she sits on my lap to steal all the heat which is convenient for her, not so much for me. In meetings at work I now apparently look like a Bond villain because I am sat with a cat on my lap. Overall, for a cheap compact heater this does exactly what I needed it to do and I would recommend it for personal desk spaces, especially for those who work remotely.

Nice little heater bought to take the chill out of my ham shack. It is very good for the operation area I work in but will not heat the whole shack - I never expected it to but the large heater I have is far too expensive to run and this does what I need at a running cost I can afford. Early days but works well without taking up too much space. I think I will like this device very much as winter progresses.

Obviously this heater isn’t meant to heat big spaces, but a lot of reviews said that it was fine for heating up small rooms - I unfortunately did not find this to be the case. My room is tiny, but even when I accidentally left this heater running for about 8 hours straight while I was out once (which, in terms of cost, really isn’t a sustainable usage anyway), the room was still chilly when I got back. To put it bluntly, if you sit more than around 30cm away from the heater, you will not feel any of the heat it gives off. Sometimes when I’m really cold I’ll just literally sit down right in front of it and have it blast directly at me from a short distance, and this will warm you up (quite quickly at that because despite what the dial might make you think, there is actually only one heat setting, so it’s full blast or nothing at all). But then once you turn it off you’re back to sitting in a cold room. It also works quite well for keeping your feet warm by putting it under your desk while you’re working - so if that kind of localized usage is what you’re looking for then go for it. If you’re hoping this will heat up a whole (small) room or even a section of a room, look for something else - a lot of my flatmates have similar heaters, in a similar price range or maybe £10 more than this one, that do a much better job at that.

I bought last week , 20 mins after turn off and try to wait to turn on but this not turn on couple of hours that’s why I send it to seller.

I returned this as I was not about to muck around and PAY an electrician to change the plug. Not right.
