Well these are cool and boy do they put curl in your hair. I have hair to the bottom of my ears and I used the smallest ones. Don’t do that if you don’t want a super tight curl. I was smart and also bought the 1/2 which I will do next time.

Update (07/20/23) - The given dimensions are not true. The diameter is 1.7cm, not 2.0cm as shown in the photos. Just wanted to update in case the diameter is very important to someone's needs.Original Review: I have naturally curly hair (2C/3A combo post-chemotherapy), but because I'm letting my hair get long I find that my natural curls don't look nice due to the length and weight of hair. I wanted curls without a bunch of hot tools and heat damage, so I embraced the 200+ years-old method of heatless curls. These rollers are IT! Get them! You may need to experiment a bit for your hair, but this method absolutely does work. I like these rollers because they aren't too long and the diameter isn't too tight. They don't stick to the hair (if you have put too much product on your hair, or hairsprayed over the rollers, sticking will occur. That's user error, not the rollers). And if you want to sleep on them, it absolutely is possible to position them in a way that sleeping is comfortable. As you unroll, don't go too fast and don't start pulling outward through the "tube" of curl too soon... that's why other reviewers are saying their hair gets caught under the end caps. In my first photo, that is a finger combed style after wearing the rollers for a few hours when my hair was either 2nd or 3rd day post-wash. In my second & third photos, that was immediately after unrolling my hair. Those curls are amazing! My hair had been freshly washed and dried, I sprayed a light amount of dry shampoo on each strand before rolling, then I wrapped my head in a silk scarf and slept on the rollers. Now just to finger comb out and style as desired! I've taken them on several vacations and they have been my saving grace when traveling and I dont have all of my hair tools with me. I really love this set and it has taken my hair styling to a whole new level of fabulous. I absolutely recommend them.

Very long rods and this would work great for long long hair, shoulder length need a smaller rod.

They smell bad when you first buy them. it is hard to wash the smell out. And the break easy.

Thicker than expected. Comfy to sleep in with my bonnet. I love the comb. Lots of them so if you're misplacing them you'll have plenty. I have pretty long hair and they work wonders!
