Absolutely first class. Immediately replaced the broken plastic fitting on the pole supplied by the original manufacturer of my Loft Ladder. It even had the same diameter. Better still it provided longer leverage to the locking ring to make opening much easier and quicker.If I had known of its use and benefit earlier, I would have replaced the original plastic device years ago!The chrome finishing adds to its strength and professional assurance.

Bought this product to use as an attachment to a wooden pole for opening a velux window. Very happy with the build and that it has two screw points. Only downside would be the head is quite small, requiring me to pair the pole to fit. Otherwise for the price, great deal.

Applied mine to a wooden pole with a single screw.This makes it much heavier than my aluminium Velux one. However, it does the same job just as well for a fraction of the price and is much sturdier.My Velux pole dropped into its handle and bent the nipple in its hole meaning I can't adjust its height anymore. No such thing with my new pole.

I have ordered and received two of these within a month and yet have received two different products. The first was not chrome but a brass colour. I fitted it to broom handle and despite not being chrome in colour is otherwise fine.Ordered and received the second one and got a very nice chrome version but it is smaller and doesn't fit onto a broom handle so is unusable until I can fine a handle that it will fit on.

Well made item that fits its description. Comes with screws.Fits standard sized wooden broom handle.Picture shows it attached to a wooden tomato stake we already had, hence needed cutting down slightly to fit snugly.We use it to open and shut fanlights we can't reach.Would buy again.

I use the hook, fitted to a pole, for opening the attic door. I had some trouble fitting the screws in, but that was a minor hiccup. It is sturdy and does the job well.
