Excellent for serving or heating small items in the microwave. And it's not plastic, so I know it will easly break down when discarded in the landfill!

If you are having troubles gauging the size of these boats, the 3lb is pretty dang big. I actually picked these up to provide samples when I cook and bring food to work or elsewhere to share. I am going to get some of the 2lb boats, and hope I can find 1lb boats too. But these 3lb boats could actually replace plates at a cookout, they will hold a large volume of food.

I was going on vacation and needed someone to feed the community cat colony I manage. I couldn't expect them to wash stainless steel bowls twice a day as I do so I purchased these containers. Worked perfectly. He was able to collect and dispose of them without hassle. There were so many in the package that I have also used them since returning home. I've been using them doubled with hand warmers then a container on top with wet food on the bottom and dry then another layer of wet. It's been working well to keep their food from freezing this winter. They help up pretty well in this last downpour over the weekend too. Recommend this product and I will repurchase.

These boat trays are the best. I have used these for many events I hold in the community, for taco day, chips and cheese, hotdogs, and more. Color is plain white. But I like that because I can use for multiple events. Not good for liquids
