Excellent uppers for 2018 Silverado!
I purchased these uppers for my 2018 Silverado 1500 4WD Crew Cab with a 2in rough country lower strut spacer leveling kit, factory wheels with 25 offset , 12.5in wide 33in tires, 2in wheel spacers, and the rough country Inner Fender Trim Panel mod.Phenomenal product! I chatted with Rough Country support before ordering and they said with a 2in leveling kit, this model was the correct version to use. They list it as the OE Upgrade version on their site. It's SKU# 10025. They have a version for lifted trucks, but it's only if your lift is 2.5" or more.Install was fairly easy, however I just had another set of uppers installed from another brand (KSP) that failed due to a weak ball joint. Hence why I upgraded to these. So the upper ball joint was fairly easy to remove from the spindles since it was recently installed. If you're upper control arms have been on there a while you may need a pickle fork to break them free. ...After install the camber and caster was comically bad, to the point the wheel was noticably tilted out at the top lol Not a big deal since the alignment shop is who handles getting them straight. But still, I probably could have gotten them at least somewhat more straight, even just for the drive to the alignment shop. This was a skill issue, not a product issue. But it really doesn't matter how straight they are since it does need an alignment after install.These RC OEM Upgrade uppers fit perfect and provide enough caster adjustment for my shop to align the wheels for zero rub and stable steering on the highway. The shop said they set it at just under 4° caster, and 0° camber to protect the 12.5in wide tires from excessive wear. My mechanic said these were easy to work with and were the right size and geometry for my 2in lift.The bushings are firm but smooth. I was really pleased with how they feel. The ball joint has plenty of articulation room. Overall very happy with them. I guess I won't know for a while how well the ball joints hold up, but so far I've had zero issues and no complaints. They also look great in red :) I will note however that the red doesn't match the red of the rough country 2in wheel spacers. The wheel spacers are a darker red, and these uppers are a very bright fire engine red. Not a big deal, but it'd be cool if they actually matched.As always, I highly recommend rough country. Their products always functional well and I've never been disappointed with their products. Will definitely buy from them again.

Upgrade to stock
I got these to upgrade my stock UCAs after installing a 7" knuckle lift. The went on perfectly and had no issues with alignment. I think that these are a must for anyone who is upgrading suspension parts on their truck. They are also greaseable by removing the black cap on top of the ball joint. The instructions say to grease them after installing but mine came with grease in them already and when I greased them it began squeezing out immediately. LASTLY there is a metal sleeve which will increase the diameter of the ball joint shaft. Make sure that you install this if it is needed. Compare the size to your stock to be sure or else you will tighten it down too far and rip the rubber grease boot.

This is a superior product. I installed on a Silverado and everything lined up as it should. Very heavy duty but also light.

Decent but rubs
They are sturdy and quite nice my only issue is they rub against the spring other than that it’s been a good product I took a grinder and made them fit a little better

Works like it should.
Installed in my garage with typical tools. Nothing hard about it. Took it the next day to get an alignment, works great.
