This powder is noticeably sweet, although supposedly made only from oats. But plain oatmeal is not sweet at all. Can someone explain this anomoly?

Hello! There is no added sugar in JOI's Oat Milk Powder. The natural sweetness is created during the production process, which breaks down the starches in the oats.

How much oat powder and water does it take to make one quart of oat milk?

Hello! When making 1 quart of milk, we suggest adding 8 tbsp of oat milk to 4 cups of water; however one of the great things about JOI is the versatility. If you'd like to add more you can, if you're satisfied with less then that works too. You control the final product!
