KONG - Puppy Flyer - Teething Rubber, Flying Disc Dog Toy - For Small Puppies (Assorted Colours)

If you have a dog, and especially a puppy, the mere thought of a Kong product provides instant relief. I’ve got several Kong products and they’ve not let me down yet. They make a couple of different flying discs in varying grades of rubber. The puppy one is made of softer rubber so you can begin to teach them to fetch the disc without fear of them catching it and damaging themselves too much. As puppies shouldn’t really be doing a great deal of jumping during their first year this product is more of an introduction to flying discs before you graduate to the harder-wearing discs for adult dogs. So far, my 10-week old Border Collie has been energetically running around chasing after her disc. One day she might actually bring it back….I’m still working on that. Update: Over 8 months down the line and the Kong puppy frisbee is still going strong. Our little Storm has turned into the destroyer of toys, yet alongside just a few other Kong and Nylabone extreme toys and her trustee Chuckit Ultra balls this frisbee just keeps going. Storm gnaws and chews and pulls and it just keeps giving. I initially wondered if we’d made a mistake not buying the adult one, but it’s been perfect. Without a doubt it’s one of her favourite toys and mine too. It’s soft and flexible enough that we can happily play frisbee inside the house when it’s dark or wet outside and cause no damage. I would go as far as saying if I could only keep one toy for Storm, this puppy frisbee would be the one.

Decent enough product, but beware, despite the image being blue I received a pink one. I queried this and apparently it is random which colour they despatch, and it has nothing to do with the gender of your dog. I think the items only come in blue and pink for obvious reasons. At least my boy won't know pink is a girls colour, and I guess he won't see shades of red too well either (it is quite a reddy pink). The seller asked for me to pay postage if I wanted to return the item, which would make returning it financially stupid. They offered to despatch another once the item was returned but still couldn't guarantee it would be blue. Not ideal, for this reason, but a decent enough product. Strong, but still soft enough for puppy's little mouth. It is a little softer rubber than the red classic kong toys. I just would rather have had blue for a boy. Call me old fashioned. If you are bothered about the boy/girl colour thing, buy this item from a shop where you know what you are getting, or from a website/ seller where you can stipulate colour

I placed an order on the 2nd of April, and due to the current pandemic, I understood that delivery times would be delayed. However 3 weeks on and I hadn’t heard anything, so I messaged the seller yesterday who was amazing! Their customer service is brilliant. They assured me that the first one was sent, but then sent me out a replacement yesterday which arrived today! I’ve taken my boy out for a walk this afternoon and he absolutely loves it, he’s not really a chewer, but wanted a rubber-like frisbee and a smaller one as he is a small Cockapoo, this was brilliant! He’ll definitely love this on his daily walks for sure! Massive thanks to Kate and the team 💕

Our 8 mth old Shihtzu loves this as part of his play routine. It flies well for a 30 ft or so throw and he’s happy to chase after it, play tug when he gets it and then go after it again (and again). A bit pricey for a rubber disc, but for small teeth it’s proving durable and worth the cost for a toy that gives our dog some really good exercise and his owners a lot of fun.

I have had a few of these Frisbees. The quality has definitely worsened. They used to fly beautifully and now they are so flimsy , they loose their shape and fall to the ground. A very disappointed customer...

This Kong Flyer is far better than a normal Frisbee because it's soft and rubbery and doesn't hurt the dog when he catches it in mid-air. It also doesn't deform, so it remains more aerodynamic and flies much further than any Frisbee we've ever owned. My old dog, aged nearly 14, has never liked Frisbee (I bought this for my new puppy) but he loves this thing and doesn't stop playing. Le Kong Flyer est beaucoup mieux qu'un Frisbee normal parce que c'est doux et caoutchouteux et ne fait pas mal le chien quand il l'attrape à la mi-air. Elle ne se déforme pas, il reste donc plus aérodynamique et vole beaucoup plus loin que tout Frisbee nous ayons jamais possédé. Mon vieux chien, âgé de près de 14, n'a jamais aimé Frisbee (je l'ai acheté pour mon nouveau chiot), mais il aime cette chose et ne s'arrête pas de jouer.

Super Qualität. Kaufe für meinen Hund (Französische Bulldogge) fast ausschließlich Artikel von Kong, da diese immer sehr lange halten. ALLES, wirklich ALLES wird binnen weniger Minuten geschreddert. Preis Leistungsverhältnis absolut top. Auch die Größe für meinen Hund genau richtig.

Great little frisbee. My pup stole the larger size from another dog and loved playing with it which prompted me to buy the smaller version. I have a Jack Russell Terrier mix who loves to fetch a ball and will jump into the air to grab this frisbee. I had a cloth frisbee he loved but eventually tore to pieces so this frisbee is definitely up his alley being made from stronger material. And it fits in my purse!
