I bought the long blades to help cut (cross cut) fire wood faster, instead of handsawing or bringing out my mitre saw into the garden.I found sawing with a hand saw FASTER than using this blade in a recip saw. The vibrations and effort expended using this blade seemed worse than hand sawing too. I guess if you don't know how to use a hand saw this would be better for you - but expect wobbly vibrating feeling hands if you use this for any more than a couple of minutes. I prefer working my arms with the handsaw instead.

I got through 3 of these blades is one afternoon, the teeth lose their sharpness quite quickly. I seriously debated sending them back but i thought for the price they were not that bad. I cut down 2 big trees and used these to trim all the branches from the trunks. I wouldnt buy them again.
