These are the best plastic water bottles. Idk why they don’t sell them in many stores. The only plastic bottles we buy for the whole family. Can open and close with one hand. They lock and are leak proof. Best of all, the mouth piece is COVERED by the flip top so it isn’t exposed to as much grossness when you carry it around. Most of them last for years. Sometimes if they’re dropped the metal lock breaks, but that can happen to any bottle. I bet we have bought over 20 of these for our family in various sizes and colors over the last 10 years. Also, the top works with the kids camel b brand of bottle. So easy to clean. No straw.

I work in special education and my students will frequently pick up my water bottle and drink before I can intercept, LOL! The two step process to open this is really quick and easy but the slender latch is not obvious to my students. It's like having a secret lock.PROS: The cap is easy to clean and the cap and bottle are dishwasher safe. It's light. It is easy to carry. I have used it everyday for over a month and I have had zero spills/leaks!!! No one is getting hurt if it "falls" (gets thrown) like the big stainless steel water bottlesCons: It only stays cold a few hours.For me, the great price, and BPA-free, heavy duty plastic over ride that. I just use 2 a day and keep the second one in my lunch cooler. Let's face it, even if it gets warm, it's better than the drinking fountain.

I kind of expected this so I ended up buying a CapCap for the bottle, but the cap that comes with this is just janky. The mechanism to open it is unreliable and needs fiddling with sometimes. if you've ever used a Contigo you'd be very disappointed.That said, the bottle fits in a cupholder and holds a reasonable amount of water for day-to-day. With a replacement aftermarket cap it's the best solution. Great Nalgene quality for the bottle itself.I'm not sure I like that the volume markings on the side are on a flat surface - it makes the bottle feel weird, the bottle isn't completely round. Just a tactile thing, I'm quibbling.Good price and Nalgene has been the most reliable for me when it comes to plastic containers so I'm sticking with what works. Camelbak bottles have a dumb lit too (the old one was so much better) and they cost more. Metal bottles are only worth the extra price if you need the insulation. So as far as water bottles that hold at least 24oz and fit in a cupholder this is kind of it.

I got the big blue bottle. It does what I want, which is have a large water bottle and stay hydrated. Nalgene bottles, specifically the ones with this cap, are my favorite. They are great while biking, easy to drink from, easy to close, and easy to carry. While the smaller plastic latch tends to break, the metal is good enough for me. Would buy again.

The nalgene bottle is light and super clear with no taste or smell. The cap is meh. I had the same seal type cap in a thermos bottle for years, and while it worked, once it starts to get old, it looks rather disgusting. So, immediately replaced with the Takeya spout cap, works perfectly, and the newer version has easily serviceble silicone gaskets.The bumper is Simple Modern brand, and fits well and grips like landing gear should.Added an ITW style polymer carabiner for lashing the bottle when needed.As much as I want to use a double wall steel bottle for work, a certified food safe production facility requires clear, non-glass containers ( and also some schools) so....now my nalgene is a bottle for real world, work/life balance. Haha. Hey nalgene, make a double wall version like this and I'll buy them for the entire family.

The OG 32 oz/ Nalgene will always be my favorite for nastalgic reasons. But this bottle is arguably just as good - if not better. I like the narrow lid - way less risk of a mess and you can open/close with one hand. The top is secure, spillproof when shut. My favorite feature is the added safety of the metal clasp that locks the lid, allowing you to toss it in your backpack and have zero concern of a leak. I fly fairly regulalry and this bottle travels with me always.

These are very nice and durable bottles. I use these daily and have for several years.

Really like this bottle!A few things to note: the seal underneath the small opening is hard to take off and clean. It also takes some pressure to close the flip up top but otherwise is great!
