As usual, the package arrived very quickly from Amazon,This Black Metal Duronic Laptop Stand arrived in a plastic bag protected by foam, all held together with a long hook and loop strap inside a sturdy cardboard box.When I removed this Laptop Stand from its packaging I said to myself, "yes"! The reason was the weight, it felt quite heavy at approx 2.91kg, and for me this was a big plus, as I knew it would be really stable when my Laptop was placed on it, but not so great if you need to take it with you in a bag.With other laptop stands I have ordered in the past, you have to pull them apart to get them into position, and as they are stiff to open, this can be quite hard if you have problems with your arms or wrists, but much to my surprise you don’t have to pull this laptop stand apart, there is a lever on the side that you pull up with your fingers and the stand moves upwards on some sort of spring mechanism, it is very smooth in operation, then you just pull the actual laptop rest to the desired angle, I knew it wouldn't move whichever position I tilted the stand to as it is really solidly built. They also supply two Allen keys to tighten the joints if they were ever to work loose (see video).Another thing I liked is the soft Anti-Slip pads that are under the base of the unit, and on the main plate and where the Laptop sits at the bottom rest these are some type of silicone or rubber, and they work, my laptop didn’t slip at all.The plate where the laptop sits and the mechanism is Black made from aluminium alloy, this base seems to be made of something like MDF with a plastic covering, the height and angle are adjustable which is perfect for my needs.This stand is so versatile it can hold Tablets, Phones, and even pictures, and if you need to take it with you it folds.As you can see from my video, my 14 inch laptop fits perfectly with room to spare either side, this would easily accommodate larger laptops. I will use this with my laptop to lift the screen to eyelevel so I don’t have to look down all the time to read from the screen, this in combination with my wireless keyboard and mouse makes my life that little easier.It has several cut-outs in the back to help with overheating.I could go through everything that’s in the listing description but I’m sure you have already read it before reading my review, so I won’t repeat it, you can see the unboxing in my video, this is just my personal experience with it.At the time of writing this review the price is £49.99. This Duronic Laptop Stand looks good, works perfectly, is collapsible for easy transportation, and the build quality is excellent, as is the price. Would I recommend it, definitely!The squares on the table I use when photographing and videoing items are 1cm squares, you can use them to help you judge the size of items I photograph.I hope you have found this review and video helpful.

This laptop stand is very well made, with top quality materials used throughout the design. There’s a good range of adjustment, so you can position your laptop exactly where you need it. I especially like the gas lift lever set up, allowing easy height and angle adjustment, even when my gaming laptop is in place. So far it seems very sturdy, with a nice weight to it, enough so for me to be confident that it’s going to keep my laptop safely where I left it. Overall I really like this stand. Highly recommended.
