I just sent this message to the seller: Hi! I just opened the Bromelain supplements and it is a really disgusting experience. The smell which came out of the bag was unexplainable. Like something rotten, dead, feces smell. I would never ever put this into my mouth, I feel already sick after smelling this... It is really not fair, because I checked the reviews after this experience and loads of complaints about this rotten smell. I used to take different brands of Bromelain, never ever felt any bad smell of them. It is not unexpectable that loads of complaints about this smell and the company is still selling this product. If you think these "smell of death", I can only assume that the only deaths you've witnessed have been in a pineapple factory. They smell a bit like fruity sweets at worst but I didn't think they were particularly unpleasant. Whether they actually do anything is yet to be discovered but no adverse side effects so far.
