Reliable and sturdy
I've had this stick since a fall in March 2022 when I had to wear a medical boot for 6 weeks. Bought at speed for it's cheapness and lack of flashy colours I didn't think it would be anything special, but I've continued using it for distance/hill walking and loved how sturdy and reliable I've found it. The body is very solidly made, stays fixed at the chosen height, and extends long enough for hiking. The shock absorbing spring works well. Love the ergonomic handle. I use it with the handle pointing away as I have mild arthritis so can rest my wrist in the dip and not have to grip the handle so hard, loosely using the strap to keep it from slipping (if that makes sense).True, the feral was poor quality but they are on most, Mountain Warehouse do the longest lasting ferals I've found and often on bogof. Very pleased with how good this stick is for the money. I'm tempted to buy a second.

Cheap but works ok - needs hard-wearing rubber foot though.
Positives:Handy spring shock-absorber in the stick.Completely adjustable.Strong enough to hold considerable weight.Negatives:Rubber foot wears through in about a fortnight, making the stick dangerous on smooth floors. You can buy packs of rubber feet but, ensure you get the correct size; there are 2 sizes. The handle is very narrow, meaning that I got cramp/pain in my hand after a while. I should say that I have very big hands, though. The adjustable section often unscrews a little, so I have to keep lifting the stick to ensure it has not become loose.

Sturdy and fantastic value
I bought this stick after a knee injury and depended heavily on it for a month or so including a trip by air and a holiday. I was very pleasantly surprised by how well-made it is at a bargain price. I’m used to robust walking poles costing £80 or so for a pair and cheaper ones giving way at the telescopic connectors. Combining low cost and reliable strength is no mean feat and one I appreciated greatly when I most needed it. A terrific product.

It’s a good walking stick 🦯 👍🥾
Just what I needed as I have got arthritis in my lower back which I cannot walk very well, which this walking stick is ideal for.Don’t like the NHS type of walking stickAs it looks old fashioned like walking crutches

Ferrules are not fit for purpose
There is nothing wrong with this walking pole except that the ferrules are like tissue paper and don’t last 5 minutes!!!I use the pole for walking on the beaches and dunes in Cornwall. So not hard ground, but I have gone through 4 ferrules in as many weeks.Totally unacceptable.
