Very useful
We've just got into powder coating and needed a cabinet for grit blasting - we tried without one but it's too messy. This is easy to store when not in use as it has no legs.Grit falls out of the bottom for re-use.Cheapest I could find but gets the job done.

A little dissapointed with the build quality being Sealey
This unit does the job, but I was a little bit disappointed with build quality. The handles rotate to close the lid tight but it still leaks abrasive through the edges. I would recommend anyone using this unit to wear a face mask to counter this problem. It is a better build quality than the Clarke one though which I have seen at a higher price than this in machine mart. You will need at least a 100 ltr compressor to get full functionality without having to stop every 30 seconds or so.I run it at 100 psi & it strips the part down to clean metal very quickly.

Not bad ...just not good
Not a bad bit of kit, a few areas that need modifications, the pick up hose for the media is about 6-8 inches too short, the light inside is pretty poor ( I replace with under cupboard stick on led strips ) and the clamps that hold the lid down are inadequate, so of course you end up with a fair amount of grit escaping. But these are not major issues, I’m using it for cleaning some smaller car parts prior to etching and powder coating and it’s serving the purpose....suggest goggles and mask

poor
As someone already said , it need's work to seal the cabinet , really poor workmanship , i had to re silicone the whole inside due to media pouring out when blasting

Pretty good but messy without dust extraction
I got one these as I'm into motorbike restoration and would rather do things myself than keeping taking them to a shop.Pros :-Easy to set up and use, although you do need extra bits such as a regulator / air drier. And a decent air supply - at least a 100L compressor at 14cfm.Does a good job, comes with 4 nozzles.Cons :-Not very well sealed - a quality control issue I think as I found several spots where the sealant hadn't made into corners and dust/media leaked out. Easily fixed though. The locks for the lid are crap. They unscrew themselves if you turn them one way, or do up tight if you turn them the other. Again, easily fixed with longer bolts and double nuts, but should be better to start with. After several uses and a dust filled garage, I hooked an old Vax vacuum cleaner up to the rear exhaust port (bath overflow pipe gaffer taped on) which made a world of difference and I would recommend doing something similar to keep the dust and muck inside the cabinet. For the price (and with some minor adaptation) it's a very good cabinet and now I've got the hang of it, produces good results.Edit: A couple of top tips after several uses - take the grid out of the bottom and work without it, it just gets in the way. Similarly don't clip the pipe to the bottom, it's easier to have it loose and move it around as you need to.
