It's an okay CD player, but definitely has some drawbacks. You can't adjust the bass on it, so what you play is what you get. Also, you can't preset radio stations, so you have to tune every time. Sound is okay.

Although the sound is reasonably good for the price of the unit, the on/off button stopped working within the first week. The only way to shut it off is to unplug it; otherwise, otherwise, the sound must be completely turned down, in which case the unit is still drawing electricity. One month later all of the buttons stopped working. It's extremely frustrating to have to keep pushing them for five minutes in order to play a CD, which is the only reason I purchased it in the first place. I left a note to the seller asking how I might get a new one because it's under warranty, but he/she did not reply. This unit is not worth the money spent on it. Only when I made a complaint on the public review page, did the retailer reach out. They offered a total refund, if I replied "refund" to their e-mail, which I did. Thereafter, they sent another e-mail offering me a replacement with a 2 year warranty, or I could stick with a refund. The only two things I could say in response were optional answers to the question, "Did this help?, Yes or No." I pressed the "No" button and never heard from them again. Neither a refund, nor a replacement-- just a broken Cd/radio.

I though the era of boomboxes was gone, but we still have the old CDs :) In addition this one plays perfectly mp3 from USB and the radio. I threw away my last boombox about 15 years ago, just bought this one and 3 days later another one in a different color for my wife. This is a great little thing to listen to you favorite music. Tuning to FM you like is a breeze too.

Gotta say it still works after use on a construction job and about 6 tent camping adventures. It is pretty roughed up now but still working! But it wont play a CD, even with the slightest scuff.

the "boom box" is fine, it replaced a unit with broken antennae. No complaints. I use it for CD and radio. it has features I may not even use : Bluetooth? I am satisfied.
