Another amazing cookbook by Adeena! Several of these dishes have been put in regular rotation for our home. Her loving spirit and passion for both people and food shine through in this gorgeous cookbook. Highly recommend!

I purchased this book back in 2023 and this is my go to at least once a week, including for our Shabbat dinners. I have used multiple appetizers and salads as side dishes and I always love looking through and cooking the chicken & beef options as main dishes.These simple recipes filled with flavor really make our Shabbat and family dinners so much better. I love following Adeena on instagram for her latest recipes that are always appetizing!

I love this book with Adeena’s inspiring recipes and stories intertwined. The recipes are user-friendly and utilize key ingredients found in a middle eastern pantry, all thoughtfully detailed. The cover dish of chicken with figs and grapes is incredible and one I will make on repeat. And I now keep a container of Adeena’s Miso Butter in my refrigerator ready to adorn my next sweet potatoes. My first batch of preserved lemons awaits a few creations. I look forward to cookiny my way through the rest Adeena’s, “Shabbat” and tasting the flavors of this inspiring cuisine.
