JOBYJB01515-BWW GripTight Action Kit - Black/Charcoal

I bought this Joby GorillaPod to complement a full size version I use with a Canon Powershot G15 compact zoom camera because I wanted to record video clips with my iPhone while doing other tasks with both hands such as playing the guitar. The iPhone 11 Pro can carry out a variety of useful video editing features such as cropping into videos whereas I would need to use third party MacOS or PC software to carry out video editing on a computer.This does the job of holding the smartphone securely but it is doesn't feel worth around £50 to me. The little Bluetooth button for starting and stopping video recording or taking a photograph remotely is a very useful feature indeed so overall, a 5 star product which we will use frequently for recording video clips on holiday and for website and YouTube content. I reduced this to a 4 star review because it seems like a £30 product not a £50 product. Definitely expensive for what it is.

If your phone is a plus or X (apple), unless you strap this Joby to a pole or any other similar contraption, it's a nuisance to keep it steady. My recommendation is to go with something heavier in their range. Also, the phone clip is obsolete design in 2018 and a pain to use, when there are spontaneous shots to be taken

This was bought as a present and the recipient was very happy.Not sure if they have ended up outdoors for photography yet, but I hear that it makes a great stand for the phone for video calls.... all well timed for now I guess!!

Item is useful for selfies or a bit of astro photography. As it's really stable and easy to adjust.I use samsungS20ultra with spigen case and fits real well.So I would recommend the Joby grip tight smart phone photographers.

Great little phone tripod. Would have been 5 stars of you could easily change the fitting from the clamp to a cold shoe.

I use daily even though I have had it a few months the joints have become loose and pop out repeatedly!

Easy to use tripod. Great for vlogging.Has a coldshoe mount, so you can add an external microphone to your mobile phone to capture better sound quality.I lost the Bluetooth trigger in the first 24 hours of usage.Coldshoe mount slides out of its place relatively easy when there is a microphone mounted in it.

Bought this for going on holiday as I wanted to take pictures on my phone and gopro and this does both. It comes with a phone grip and little Bluetooth button (very handy) but you can also mount a gopro to it. Great size for travelling around
