Patient & careful prep is the key.
After struggling to apply this stuff to a tear in a silicon half-body suit, I was on the verge of tossing the glue in the garbage & then leaving a scathing 1-star review. All I can say is this: the tear was in the most unforgiving contour of the suit. I couldn't get the torn pieces to align & the glue was not adhering whatsoever. Then I read some reviews & followed the feedback if what others had done. (Initially I didn't even see that cone-shaped precision applicator nozzle). That ended up being crucial . Anyway I patiently maneuvered some hefty household objects to book-end the two torn strands together so that they were at least in contact with each other & slightly weighed down . Then I CAREFULLY applied the glue to half of the tear. Since the glue doesn't bond at all in the beginning, you have to be very patient as to not buckle or disrupt the contact between the torn pieces. You almost have to dribble the glue so that it fills in the fracture. Left that out overnight & the next day carefully glued the remaining half, which was much easier because know at least there was a bond. Left that out overnight & then once bonded, I went over the tear again. The coloring seems to be fine, but I wasn't overly concerned because the tear is not really in a visible place. Anyway, I hope I'm not jinxing this, but the glue has held up. And I will say this tear was in a place that I assumed had about a 10% chance of salvaging. And that doesn't even take into account the level of stress this location will continue to see with further use. But the tear has remained sealed up & the functional integrity is back. (For now at least) But so far so good. Patience and preparation is key. Silicone is extremely uncompromising and NOT easy to bond. But it works. I assure you

Perfect silicone repair
It’s great works as described.

It's not glue.
It's not a glue. It's just silicone that doesn't stay affixed to anything I have found.

Great for drag queen breast plates!
I had a tear in a breastplate I had bought but it tore after the return window ended :( but this was great! I layed it out flat on the tear and put a nice thick layer in between the Tear, it mostly flattened out and evened itself out a lot and it was VERY strong. I am so happy I was able to find this

Very sticky, but smelly
This glue is perfect for adhering silicone to silicone. It does have a strong smell though, but the smell is gone the next day. Also it came out a translucent white, but it blended in with the skin-color silicone when dried.

Not color matched. Just translucent regular silicone
There is no coloring added to this. It is simply translucent standard silicone. Nothing special, doesn't color match doesn't have any color additives that are visible.

Okay
The glue isn’t actually flesh colored - at least, what I received isn’t - but it actually still works well enough. It has blended in well enough for my needs. I wouldn’t recommend this for professional silicone professionals, though. Decent enough for small corrections on silicone (e.g., silicone dolls).Gave it three stars because it’s clear, not flesh colored.

Excellent product!
My youngest daughter is silicone baby obsessed. So we have a few of them. And the newest one that she has unfortunately acquired a tear on the corner of his eye. After much tears and panic, we came across this particular Silicone glue it matches the tone of the baby in question. The smell is what you would expect a glut to smell like. It could be a little easier to apply if they gave you a nozzle tip instead of just a tube opening. To me, that was the only con. Otherwise, it was a great color match, it does exactly what it is supposed to do. It also dries quite evenly… So for the corner of his eye, I kind of shove some glue in with a toothpick, and then I sort of bandage wrapped his head down, think of the bandage going from the top of his skull to his jaw so to speak. This way it closed tightly. And then I added a more glue with the tip of the toothpick to kind of seal it.I’ll have this tube for the rest of my life however, if I didn’t, or if I lost it, I would absolutely purchase it again.
