Penn Slammer IV Saltwater Spinning Reel

Very smooth drag.Isn't sticky like some of the other higher end Japanese reels out there. Ive caught a few tarpon in the triple digits and a couple goliaths and this reel worked great. Its a great buy for the money.

Great reel! Very smooth, 6500 sized pairs perfectly with a 10ft Penn carnage3 with 50lb braid. Love this reel and set up definitely recommend for surf fishing.

Best pen reel you can get for the price love the extra smooth and strong drag works great for your reds and snook I got the 3500 fits a medium or medium heavy rod weight well I run a 7' rod

Excellent reel for what do and more. This is primarily use for plugging heavier stick baits and poppers for Uluas(Gt's Giant Trevally) here in Hawaii. Its smooth and has plenty enough drag to fight strong fish. It does what i need at a cost I can afford...Awesome reel.

Want a great reel for the surf? You can't do much better than the slammer dx. This is the kind of reel that should last you for years. Mine came with plenty off good luck too I've already caught over two dozen fish with it. Not bad for having it just over two weeks. IPX 6 sealing should keep the salt and moisture out of your gears and the upgraded stainless steel main gear gives you all the power and durability you'll ever need. I'll be fishing this reel for years and years to come.

very great reel strong and smooth the only problem its with the seller suppose to be not extra charge in delivery instead i get billed another 47.61$ from ups otherwise they wont release the parcel
