Edited review - They sent a new one to me, which I appreciate, however I have not had the chance to test it out.Original review - When they say that the ball stays lit for 30 seconds when bounced or kicked, THEY MEAN IT. Every 30 seconds you literally have to slam it on the ground to make it light up. So, if you're just trying to have a game of catch with your two sons at night, as I do, the ball does not stay lit just by the motion of tossing it around and catching. Every 30 seconds someone has to SLAM it on the ground to make it turn back on. It regularly turn off mid air and the pass recipient is left to cover their face since the ball basically just disappeared.So, just be aware of this going it. The ball works EXACTLY as they say in this ad.

The seller sent the item on time, no delays, everything was perfect just one disagreement on the size of the ball, I asked for a full size 6 ball, but the ball is actually junior size, it will work as my kids will use it but I wanted a full size for the night games with my friends, not disappointed as the ball works correctly, it lights as mentioned in the ad, everything works perfect, but in the picture for the product names of the ball sizes is confusing, the regular size on their picture is the junior size, and the junior size might be for toddlers. In the picture I attached, you will see the difference.

I bought this on a whim to help ease the stir-craziness of a 10 year old and a 17 year old. I’m so glad I did! What fun!Rubber football—not solid—that you pump up with the enclosed pump and needle. Pull out the strip to activate the batteries and smack it. It lights up nicely. At night, it looks reddish—almost like metal straight from a blacksmith’s forge.Expensive? Yes. Fun? Yes. Worth it? You bet. My boys love it!

Lots of fun & works well because it stays lit as long as you're using it. The bad part though is if it's really dark outside, you can't see where to throw it... my suggestion: someone needs to invent glow-in-the-dark gloves for the catcher :)

The size 6 official standard size is smaller than an nfl football, it may be almost as big as a junior football but I bought another brand before, can't remember the name and it was almost the same as an official nfl size for the same price, this may be good for a younger kid but if you're a bigger kid or older you may want a real sized football, it looks cool but it's too small for the price but at least you can throw it really far and it looks cool the higher you throw it at night

Did not work out of the box. I had to take apart the led part and re-seat the batteries. I found there is solder mask that extends into the region where the battery would connect. This made for an intermittent connection with the battery. The light would flicker or turn off on bumps/bounces. Poor design IMO, maybe this will get fixed in later versions.Illumination was good however when it was working, and the rubber felt like good quality long lasting rubber.

I have an autistic son and this was one of his birthday gifts. He has difficulty sharing his feelings but, he loves sports! Sadly with winter soon upon us and the days growing shorter I needed something so he could still play at night.So lets dive in... ball arrives flat with a set of batteries installed, a pump, and an extra set of batteries...The down side is that the ball is a bit smaller than the size states but it's perfect for me and my son to pass around and best of all did I mention IT LIGHTS UP!!!! The ball is textured much the same as a regular football and I must emphasize that the laces are really well defined so that even with my non-athletic ability I can hit a decent spiral :DI really love this ball and the valve seems to hold air fairly well.Bottom line is if you are looking for a ball to play in the pros with then this isn't your ball.... If you're lookin to have fun at night with the kids or friends then this IS the ball you're looking for.

My kid absolutely loved it. I also was glad that it turns itself off if no one is playing with it. Hilariously, we live in a rural area and it gets really dark. One of the boys kicked the ball out too far and then when he was almost to it, the light went out and we couldn't see it anymore. Just that laughter made it worth the buy.

I was really surprised how bright this was in the dark. We played a 40 minute game in the dark and this ball really helped to keep the game going. It’s well made and seems pretty strong for throwing and kicking no damage so far. Only downside is the light goes out every 15 seconds or so (which is great for battery saving) but if you are running with the ball you need to hit it really hard on the exact spot of the sensor to get it to come back on! Otherwise it’s a great ball and love that you get spare batteries and a kit to replace them with. Hopefully it’s an easy job when we finally run out Of the pretty enduring batteries already fitted when purchased!

My son and I like playing American football and we live in England so we thought it be a good idea to get a light up football so we can see in the dark evenings We purchased a glow in the dark American football the light didn’t work so I told the seller and then the seller sent me a light new ball everything which I’m very pleased withA very durable ball nice to play with🏈Kind regards Richard

Bought for my 7 year old grandson for Christmas...huge hit...easy to inflate with enclosed tool. Played for two hours in the dark on Christmas Day with the family..great fun.

Arrived in time for the end of season game for a COVID prisoner. Lit up his day!

Bought this for my 14 year old's birthday. Arrived really quickly. He (& his mates) absolutely loved it! Great for playing with now as the days are getting shorter. Light goes off when there is lack of movement so should hopefully last a long time before battery needs changing. Brilliant idea!
